What is a Condition Type? 

A condition refers to the state of an item.

• The level of wear, prior use (if any), appearance, and overall quality.
  

Condition Type Eligibility

Availability of condition types may vary by product/category as well as the seller eligibility per program.

• US Big Deals currently has two programs, US Big Deals Pre-Owned and US Big Deals Restored.

ETS – Electronics, Wireless, Cameras, Gaming

New

• New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in the original packaging. The item is factory sealed, with tags. (Some items may have a warranty.)
  
• New without Box/Tags: A brand-new, unused item without the original packaging/tags.
  

Restored

• Restored Premium: Sold by US Big Deals Restored program sellers.
  
  • Item requirements:
    
    • In “like-new” condition
      
    • Have minor to no defects
    • Professionally inspected, tested, and cleaned
    • Refurbished to their original condition by the manufacturer (or an approved vendor)
      
    • Listed in the correct condition according to these requirements:
      
      • From or authorized by a manufacturer of their seller/supplier
        
      • Battery life = 90% of the “like new” equivalent or higher
        
      • A minimum one-year written warranty
        
      • At least 30-day free returns
        
• Restored: Sold by US Big Deals Restored program sellers.
  
  • Item requirements:
    
    • In “like-new” condition
      
    • Have minor to no defects.
      
    • Professionally inspected, tested, cleaned
      
    • Refurbished to their original condition by the manufacturer (or an approved vendor)

Pre-Owned

• Pre-Owned: Like New: The item is in perfect working condition and has no signs of wear/use.
  
• Pre-Owned: Good: The item works properly and has slight signs of wear/use.
  
  • Item may have small scuffs, marks, or scratches.
    
• Pre-Owned: Fair: The item works properly and has visible signs of wear/use.
  
  • Signs of wear on item includes scratches, fading, missing parts and accessories.
    
• New with Defects: A brand-new, unused working item that has cosmetic defects caused during production or delivery.
  
  • This could include missing threads, discoloration, label malfunction.
    

ETS- Toys, Celebration, Music, Media

New

• New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in the original packaging. The item is factory sealed, with tags. (Some items may have a warranty.)
  
• New without Box/Tags: A brand-new, unused item without the original packaging/tags.
  

Pre-Owned

• Open Box: The item is in great condition and has no signs of use. The item is in original packaging, but it is open/has signs of wear.
  
  • The item comes with the original accessories.
    
  • This could include warehouse items, returns, etc. 
    
• Pre-Owned: Like New: The item is in excellent condition, perfect working condition and has no signs of wear/usage. 
  
  • The original protective wrapping, if any, may be missing but the original packaging is intact. 
    
• Pre-Owned: Good: A well-cared-for item that has seen limited use but remains in great condition.
  
  • The item and its instructions are complete and included.
    
• Pre-Owned: Fair: The item shows wear from consistent use, but it remains in fair condition. The item may have markings and show other signs of previous use. The item remains usable.
  
• New with Defects: A brand-new, unused item that functions but has cosmetic defects caused during production or delivery.
  
  • This could include missing threads, discoloration, label malfunction, etc.
    

Books

New

• New: The book is new, unread, and unused in perfect condition and includes all supplemental materials (ex: digital codes for textbooks).
  

Pre-Owned

• Pre-Owned: Like New: The book appears new but has slight signs of use. The cover has no visible wear. If applicable, the dust jacket comes with hard covers. Item has no missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no markings such as underlining, highlighting or writing in margins.
  
  • Used textbooks don’t require the inclusion of supplemental materials.
    
• Pre-Owned: Good: The book shows slight signs of wear like an owner's inscription or foxing, but no tearing and all pages are present.
  
• Pre-Owned: Fair: The book has possible foxing, creasing, or small tears, and may not contain non-vital pages like endpapers but its integrity is still intact.
  
  • There may be underlining and highlighting of text and writing in the margins.
    

Hardlines

New

• New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in the original packaging. The item is factory sealed, with tags. (Some items may have a warranty.)
  
• New without Box/Tags: A brand-new, unused item without the original packaging/tags.
  

Restored
