Don't cheap out. Your shins will thank you.
The boots look nice but when you wear them and walk/slightly bend your legs the front part of the rubber boots creases and pushes into your shin. Not comfy. Causes irritation even with short time use. Not recommend. Wish I didn't cheap out. You can see the crease in the picture provided.

I bought these for my 11 year old because I couldn't bring myself to pay the higher price tag on the more popular name brands. I'm so happy with this decision. The boots are great. My child has worn them to play in the snow and in mud. No problems keeping warmLaurie

I'm above average in regards to size, I stand at 6'3" barefoot and 235 pounds in my boxers. I wear a size 13 in most Tennis shoes A.K.A. sneakers, including but not limited to Adidas, Nike, and Skechers. In these boots, I ordered down a size. No half sizes were available, so I was unsure about going down a full size especially with the boots being listed as a medium width but to my surprise, they fit like a glove. My opinion, if you are worried about sizing issues, just order the next size down. If you are a half size then just drop off the half. As far as quality, these seem to be just as well made as BOGS a much more expensive brand and they are definitely as comfortable. Hope this review helpsCharles
