1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/28/2023HorribleHorrible. I mowed my lawn for the first time and the arm that connects to the deck broke (completely snapped) in a matter of minutes) ridiculous. Cheap product and I think it's a wast of money. I'm demanding a refund and take this garbage back. Thanks to the east of time tooJoseph

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/13/2022Don't buy one! This thing is junk. I've owned 15 lawn mowers and this one is the worst. Brand new, and now, the engine starts but blows a massive plumbe of smoke at startup. The metal they use is of such low quality (with cheap design factors) that the handle to run it broke at the base. I've owned it 7 months. Also, if you have never had a rear drive mower, keep that going. Rear drive is much harder to control. Finally their warranty service is as bad as it gets. After spending 37:14 minutes on hold, I was met by one of the ruder representives (and clueless) that I have ever enountered. Don't buy this mower (although you can't right now as it's "out of stock") or ANYTHING from this company.John

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/09/2022No good. This lawnmower isn't even a year old and I keep it in a covered garage yet one of the handles rusted and snapped off. That's after I already had to pay to replace a screw and two other parts fell off. Absolutely ridiculous.NoItsKaycee

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/17/2021EXCELLENT MOWER AND EXCELLENT PRICE !Walmart to the RESCUE ! This mower was easy to assemble and I practically chase it around my half acre ! After spending two weeks of wasted time energy and money trying to repair my riding mower and not wanting the expense of replacing it I bought this for a fraction of the cost of a new riding mower and couldn't be happier with it ! I'm not going to be needing my bicycle for exercise anymore either since I can simply chase this mower around my property ! haha ... it started on the first pull of the cord and I couldn't be happier with it ... THANK YOU VERY MUCH WALMART !ernst

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/27/2021Not My Favorite Mower EverAfter using a regular push mower for the last 2 years I decided I needed a self propelled. For starters....well this one doesn't like starting. After 2 years of my cheap $100 mower starting so beautifully this was an issue. Nothing will get you to hate your mower faster than it not starting easy. The self propelled part works ok but if it hits certain parts of the lawn just spins it's wheel. The mower doesn't like to be pulled backwards. The bag seems to prohibit that. Some of the assembly is a bit cheap honestly and oh...of course there were missing parts. Why it's still at my house is I think I've made peace with its nuances and it just wouldn't be worth the drama of returning. If I were to have a "do over" it wouldn't be this one.Dave

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/05/2021Very cheaply builtI bought this late last summer, all seemed to be good used it a couple of times through the rest of the summer. When we pulled it out this year during the first use the self propel stopped working and a piece of the bottom broke off of the mower making it unusable. So altogether it worked maybe 5 times. Really disappointed, and a little mad.Natalie

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/18/2021Piece of JunkThis thing lasted mowing my yard 4 times. Belt cover is thin plastic, broke the 4th time I used it so the self propell won't work. Can't find a replacement anywhere. No mower shop I've contacted will work on it.SHB

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/08/2021Initial impressionsI bought this mower as a replacement for my tired old TroyBilt. I decided to take a risk as I have never bought a mower online without seeing it in-person, nor have I strayed from mainstream brands. I bought this mower because it was cheap. I use a push mower to mow about 1/4 of my yard and trim, so I don't need a push mower that necessarily is made to mow a large area. The PowerSmart was easy to assemble, essentially 2 bolts int he handles and you're done. The construction is average, with liberal use of plastics and inexpensive wheels. I mow with side discharge and soon found out that the side discharge does not stay on if you mow around any type of shrubbery. If you intend to mow with side discharge, invest in some short self tap screws and washers. The side discharge has hole in it for this type of mounting. It took 3 minutes, and I had no problems afterwards. This is not a knock on PowerSmart either. I had the same issue with my old TroyBilt and had to resort to the same remedy. That said, once I fired it up, I was pleasantly surprised. This mower is powerful. I cut grass even thicker than that in my picture and it never stalled or clogged (another problem the TroyBilt had). It powered through tough grass, climbed hills with ease and was so easy to use! Also, its very light! Much easier than my old mower to maneuver and move without using the self-propel. I'm sold on the mower so far. As long as the durability holds up, I'll be a very happy man!Chris
