This is a very versatile scanner.It worked well right out of the box, very intuitive. I had some apprehension when I opened the box since my scanner and USB cord had been removed from their plastic covers and the covers were still laying in the box. I was also missing the 16 pin obd adapter.

    Exceptional value
    Reads codes from Chevy through Mercedes Electric. Allows limp mode to be bypassed on Silverado which allowed us to travel back to civilization! Great value!!

    Good but incompatible with certain vehicles
    It's okay for most of my vehicles, but pretty disappointed it can't even read cylinder misfires on my 2004 Volvo C70 (2.3L Turbo), as that's pretty essential and basic for live data. Seemed good for my Ford and Honda vehicles.
