Inexpensive but great performance
Perhaps it is just me but paying $1000 for a phone is crazy. So, for $179 I got the brand new TCL 30V 5G. I had read mixed reviews and thought I might be crazy but as it turns out it has been great. I compared screen quality to IPhone 13 and really can't tell a difference. Haven't really used camera yet so can't talk about it yet. All other functions have been fast and flawless so far. Battery has to be charged every 4 days and I use for business. So, I am very happy so far. But again, perhaps not the phone guru other are. I would not buy a phone knowing I would want the next model the following year so maybe this phone is not for all. But for me, so far so very good.

    stick with another device. TCL is not where it.
    was curious about TCL joining the smart phone market. their TV's are pretty good and affordable. the phones though, I'm not impressed. I'm actually irritated with this phone more than liking it for any extra features. do extensive reviews before purchasing. I've only had yhe phone a few months and there's screen blips happening when im on the internet. apps suddenly close out while you're putting information in. TCL should have a waited a few more years and i should have stuck to Samsung like i had been.

    Walmart forgot to scan to activate, unable to use
    Phone seems like it would be a great phone but Walmart didn't scan it prior to sending it to me so Verizon won't allow me to use it. I would advise against ordering online. Go to the store.

    The TCL 30V is ok except that it started having issues when i was watching tv programs and movies with the streaming apps on the phone. wi fi is good and the apps are fine because i can watch them on my tablet without any problems. I even did a factory reset on the phone and it didn't fix the issue. The TCL 30V is supposed to be as good as Samsung but so far its shown me that its inferior.

    Don't bother.not worth it
    I got my phone damaged it won't keep charge either . This is redicilous that I paid 179 for this phone and can't even use it
