Summertime is looking much cooler!
I had never heard of the TCL name brand when I ordered their 10,000 BTU air conditioner and I admit that I was a little apprehensive. Happily, I can report that this window unit is AMAZING and it will help provide a much more pleasant environment during our long, sweltering, southern summer! Heaven knows, we need all the help we can get! Fortunately, we had a similar size air conditioner already installed and it was a breeze to simply switch the two items. My husband and dad were done in less than an hour with the entire process. The previous unit had stopped cooling and we had already called the repairman twice, but he was unable to tackle the project. This product arrived just in the nick-of-time, as the temperature has started to rise considerably. All the hardware and bits and pieces are included, as well as a detailed installation guide. The unit has all the desired functions one could want in a window air conditioner. In addition to the cool mode, it also has a dry mode for reducing the humidity in the air (another important and necessary feature for the southern summer) as well as fan and auto modes. Also, there are ECO, sleep, fan speed, and filter buttons. By the way, the filter is easy to access and easy to clean. I am really impressed with all the detailed instructions that were included, from installation to use to trouble-shooting, etc. They really provided a thorough guide in easy-to-understand terms. I highly recommend this air conditioner to everyone.

Great A/C with one caveat
Straight out of the box it was very easy to assemble - no tools needed. The side “blinds” slid into place without any problem and stayed pulled in so when we put it in the window they didn't get in the way. It came with 2 different types of foam to stop up any cracks or open areas, and it worked well in doing its job, although I needed a little more as this is an old house. I did need 2 people to lift it into the window and it helped having a 3rd inside to close the window on top of the A/C but if there are only two people available it is light enough for one to hold while the other went inside to close the window. There was no need or a support pole or stick. It's light enough for a wooden window frame to hold easily, and it leaned back without having to adjust for water drainage. Just needs a simple 3 prong plugin. Comes with its own fuse switch on the plug which is very nice! When I turned it on for the first time I was very surprised at the power of the air! It easily blew thru the kitchen into the living room and was VERY cold. The adjustable vents don't seem to do much in directing the air side to side but I was impressed how it blew up towards the ceiling where the heat really is, and the range of the vents let it blow down also. Different modes: Auto: it just runs, it decides the temp and fan power. Cool: this mode is fully manual and the one I prefer, so is the fan speed. Even has a Heat Option! Dry: This is a de-humidifier option. I do like the de-humidifier because I live in the south, I don't like the fact that its set at 61 degrees and you cannot adjust it. This mode gets things too cold too fast! This is why it didn't get a 5-star rating. It has an ECO setting also but this to me is useless. It just pops on every now and again for about 3 minutes and shuts off again. Doesn't seem to do anything temp wise. Also has a sleep and a timer option, I didn't get around to trying those. The filter inside pops out easily and you can clean it under a faucet anytime you need to. Comes with a remote and batteries right out of the box. But my favorite is the Wi-Fi! Has software for your android or iPhone where you can operate your A/C from any where if you have Wi-Fi. I tried it when I was in the next county over and it works great! I would recommend this to anyone it's a great air conditioner and with all the options its sure to please the millennial crowd, too!

    TCL 10,000 BTU WINDOW AIR CONDITIONER WITH WI-FI. The air conditioner comes very well packaged from the manufacturer. I found it to be very heavy and needed help with the installation process. Installation is easy and the instructions are easy to follow. It comes with everthing you need for standard installation. The air conditioner comes with wi-fi but I did not use or test that option. It does come with a handy remote control that I find very usefull. I found that the air conditioner is a little loud and would not want it in my bedroom. It does work great and pumps out some cold air, cooling off a room quickly. The air conditioner has three cooling speeds as well as three fan speeds. Also a eco energy saver mode. It has a digital thermastat with a 24 hour timer and is equiped with a sleep mode. The LED display is clear and easy to read and all the buttons work nice and smooth. Eight way air flow direction so no matter where you install the air conditioner you can direct the air flow to any where in the room that you want. The filter is right in front and is easy to replace. I am very pleased with this air conditioner and it has been great in this heat wave in my area.

    This is a premium AC. It is a nice, quiet running air conditioner. I hate loud air conditioners. I don't even have to turn this off when I narrate. Usually, noises from an AC or fan are picked up in my mic. But this one is quiet and I don't hear it running in my recording area from the bedroom. The instructions for setting it up were easy to follow for my son. It is quite heavy, but he and I together were able to lift it. the main thing is how quickly it cooks off my bedroom. And I like having a remote, so I can shut it off easily from my bed if I get too chilled at night. I highly recommend this AC.

    This air conditioner couldn't have come at a better time! We have had 95 degree weather For the last several days! We are so happy with this, and are staying nice and cool now without having to run our whole house, central air. The unit is 10,000 BTU and has Wi-Fi. We can operate it from our cell phone any time. It covers a room approx. 450 sq. Ft., and has a 24 hour timer for on/off functions. It will also turn off automatically when the room reaches the set temperature. There is an automatic re-start function that restarts the unit after the electricity has been interrupted. A light will come on when you need to clean the filter. And one of the best features is how quiet this unit is! And if its not quiet enough for you, or you find its setting not quite right, it has a sleep mode that automatically adjusts the temp. and fan speed for comfort. This unit can be used with single or double hung windows. I can definitely recommend this air conditioner.

    This is Cool
    The TLC 10,000 BTU Black Window Air Conditioner with WiFI is absolutely amazing. The unit puts out a great amount of nice cool air without interruption. It is very pleasing to look at, and looks great in the window. The remote control is very nice to have and comes with its own batteries. The WiFi is great to have, it gives you control of the Air Conditioning Unit with your phone. On your phone it displays the temperature and the settings you need to control the unit and its functions. With the weather getting hotter as summer is on its way, this is the time to get a good Air Conditioner and this one I highly recommend. When you buy this Unit, you will not be disappointed.

    Not a noisy air conditioner
    This is my review of the TCL 10,000 BTU air conditioner with Wi-Fi, The first thing I wanna say it's a very big and heavy box you definitely need two people to lift it and move it around especially if you're picking up from the store. Everything was neatly packed in the box lots of Styrofoam. I removed it from the box and followed the instructions it was very easy to set up. The set up only took about 30 minutes from start to finish this includes putting it in the window And getting everything ready to use for the first time. Plugged it in and it was ready to go. The fit was good but my windows are older so it was a little difficult for me to get them in perfectly and to seal all the air out. Just download the app on your phone and you're ready to go, the very first thing I did notice is how very very quiet it is it runs extremely quiet the app works good you can do a lot of things from it. It's good if you decide that you want to turn it on before you come home. I definitely would recommend this to anybody looking for a Wi-Fi air conditioner it has a ton of great feet,It's only supposed to be used for 450 ft.² however I have a 700 square-foot home and it actually cool the whole house. I like that it does have the app and the remote. It makes life so more much more convenient

    A Very Smart Wi-Fi Air Conditioner Indeed!
    Hi, I am a Walmart Sparks Reviewer and I am doing a review on the TCL Smart Wi-Fi Room Air Conditioner, which came in a 10,000 BTU, color black. I must say that I am so highly impressed with this air conditioner. I just love it! There are so many extraordinary features. The set up and installation was fairly easy. The instructions were very easy to read, and it took about a little over thirty minutes to complete the installation. Excellent! I love the remote control. So, I don't have to manually operate it unless I want too; but the features are so easy to operate from a distance. Very good! I love the Wi-Fi connection. The app was very easy to download on my cellphone, and I was able to operate it just like I would from the remote, but even better. There are a few more settings on the Wi-Fi then on the remote. Such as the display of the number settings just like on the air conditioner itself; adjusted temperature control settings; turn off and on selection; adjusting modes, fan functions from auto to low and high; and the timer. It also has a heat setting, which is very interesting. This is so convenient because when I am in another part of my home or outside of my home I can use my cellphone to power-on this unique air unit! Outstanding! I love the air conditioner itself. The cooling system is amazing! Excellent amount of forceful air, and it blows out from a long distance to get the room cool in no time. I also love it because it circulates the air to my other room as well. The vents are movable so I can adjust it in different directions. The digital display is large enough where I can see it. Also, there's an electronic green color light that appears on the circles of the different features, as well as on the Air Filter indicator which lets me know when it's time to clean it. Both the Wi-Fi and the remote is so, so convenient! Superb! I love the design itself. It's a very beautiful black color, which gave my bedroom area a brand a new look. Overall, I am so highly impressed of the TCL Wi-Fi Room Air Conditioner. It has a lot of great neat features, easy access to Wi-Fi and remote, and various cooling temperatures that will keep me and my family nice and cool throughout these hot summer months, and I love it!

    Gets Crisp Quick!
    Finally, it has gotten warm enough to test this product out in high heat settings, and it works great. This air conditioner is a great size and a wonderful option for the summer for those homes and businesses that do not have central air conditioning. I thought that this air conditioner would be a great addition for my grandfather's pre-fabricated home, which gets over heated during the summer. Unfortunately, I did not pay much attention to the windows, which were not vertical opening. I was still able to use this in his him and try it out to see how it all worked within his space. It worked amazingly quick in the main room. It cooled down his single bedroom in under five minutes and the rest of the two bedroom home in under thirty minutes. This air conditioner worked incredibly fast. It was simple enough to get running and easy to maneuver with the settings. There were no difficult or unnecessary steps that needed to be taken for this to start doing its job. This is an incredible find from Walmart. It is the perfect product to keep you cool all summer long, just as long as you measure your window and it is a vertical opening window.

    I received the TCL 10,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner; White and its great. I wasn't too sure about the brand because it's not one I heard of before, I'm so glad I gave it a try. This window air conditioning unit is equipped with a 24-hour timer for on/off functionality. The ECO mode is a great feature it conserves energy by turning off the compressor when the room reaches the desired temperature. Also, the fan motor will run for 10 minutes, stop for 20 seconds, and then run again. The compressor will turn back on when the room temperature rises above the set temperature. Another great feature is the unit's control display can be turned off so it is not illuminated during sleeping hours. When the power is off or accidentally cut off, it will automatically restart with the previous function settings when the power resumes. It stays cool in different areas of the room thanks to the 8-way air outlets ensure consistent air flow to all parts of the area where it is stored in. I love that the filter cleaning light will display after 500 total hours of run time to remind you to clean your filter to ensure optimal operating efficiency. It has three mode settings Cool, Dehumidify, and Fan modes. The sleep mode is cool too, it automatically adjusts the temperature and fan speed to make the room more comfortable during the night. Setting up the AC took some time because it didn't fit in my window. I had to take to another window that it would fit properly. I would recommend this TCL 10,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner to anyone looking to stay cool in the hot summer weather.
