Great upgrade for current iPhone in 2021 forward!!
I bought this iPhone on Nov 26, 2021 (Black Friday) and so far has been a great upgrade coming from an iPhone 8 Plus. It's smaller than my previous phone but I just love how it fits better in my hand when I'm carrying other things. There is no home button on this iPhone but didn't take me long to adapt to the FaceID. Makes others who try to get in, can't! For me, it's quicker! Battery is pretty good for the most part. Color of iPhone is the same from my iPhone 8 Plus. Black for Professionals!! The speed of this iPhone compared to the iPhone 8 Plus is a big difference. From apps, games and such. Photo taking looks very nice. I like the upgraded lenses on the phone. I'm a photographer and could tell the difference between the phones. (iPhone 8 Plus to iPhone 12 mini.) Screen is nice, bright and wonderful to look at when reading or viewing items. Lastly, I have no regrets upgrading to this iPhone. It's a great iPhone for all my needs. Definitely recommend it!!

DISAPPOINTING
This phone is a major disappointment. I bought it for my son for Christmas. It's May and his phone can no longer be used. The phone doesn't connect to WiFi or Bluetooth and never has. Now he cannot get the phone to do anything. No calls, texts or internet.

    TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DECISION
    This phone was purchased from walmart.com and locked to Straight Talk Carrier. i purchased this on Black Friday as a Christmas gift. FINALLY after talking to at least 15 different straight talk managers, it has been decided that this phone will not work with straight talk. and now.... its too late to return! it is also locked to this carrier unless i want to pay an additional 300$ to unlock it. I am FURIOUS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!

    This is a good phone for the price of $399.
    No bells and whistles. It's a good phone. Not as well built or sturdy as the 6 and 7 generations, and not much more powerful either but it was a very good deal for the price on offer. Androids are light years ahead of what iPhone is offering at the moment. But they are too expensive. So I stick with what I can afford — plus I am just a texter and caller. No heavy usage.

    Good Value Overall
    Phone is great, but it doesn't come with a charger, only a charging cord that didn't fit my older USB chargers. Got a new charging block at the Apple store for $20. Straight Talk activation was straight forward enough but the published plan prices don't include taxes and fees, so make sure to add about $3 when comparing plans

    Like the phone but severely disappointed my favorite color purple wasn't an option offered from StraightTalk. What's the deal? My disappointment is not with Apple, but is with StraightTalk! StraightTalk, make me happy and let me swap my black 12 mini I ordered within the first hour the deal became available for a purple one.

    Perfect sized phone, at a perfect price!
    I picked up this phone on November 29th, 2021, a few days after Black Friday. It was still on sale for $299, and it was pick-up only. So I instantly snatched it up when the black color was back in stock. And let me tell you, this is the best iPhone I've ever owned. The size is perfect, it easily fits in my pocket with more room to spare, and it's also light weight. As far as the battery life, I have no problems with it at all. I'm not a heavy phone user, so I can usually get through the work day with 70% of battery to spare. I would definitely recommend this phone, especially for a college student like me who wants to save money on Total Wireless / Straight Talk.

    Terrible experience with Walmart and the phone
    There is nothing wrong with the phone. But a phone like this does not deserve to be used with this network and sold at Walmart. I tried to return the phone and I was waited in the store for at least 2 hours. The reason? The UPC barcode in the order does not match the UPC on the box of iPhone 12 mini. What a system, what a store!!! Stay away from Walmart

    One hand operation
    Small one hand operation phone that takes great pictures. I use the MagSafe charger instead of the plug in-port, in fact I bought a plug to keep dust and debris out for mine. I have used the $35 straight talk plan for 3-4 years now without going over any data limit. After one year from purchase date, the phone will unlock if you give them a call… not a bad deal for an iPhone 12 mini for $299!

    Upgraded from iPhone 6 to 12 mini
    I upgraded from my iPhone 6. Apps started to not work with the iPhone 6 and the battery didn't last half a day. So far everything works great with the iPhone 12 mini and it was easy to switch everything from the old phone to the new within minutes. It is very close to the same size as the iPhone 6, which is why I wanted the 12 mini. The screen is diagonally slightly bigger than the 6 and it fits in my hand and pockets the same as the 6. Other family members have the iPhone 11 and iPhone XR and they are too big.
