When I first bought this keyboard, I was thinking it was gonna be kinda bad because I read all the reviews on what people wrote about the keyboards light being blue and the light not going through the keys, but when I got it and I tried it out, this is probably the best keyboard I've ever used, i've used off-brand gaming keyboards before, but this is the best one I've ever purchased.

"Illumination" Worthless for Low-Light Use
Backlighting/illumination does not come through the actual keys, so using this in low-light conditions is worthless. Yes, I downloaded the software. Yes, I adjusted the brightness level. This does not make the light come through the keys themselves. See attached photo for exactly what it looks like in use. If you're just looking for a keyboard that lights up for aesthetics, you might be happy with this product. But for me it was unusable.

    Like that it works for what I need but I dislike how you can't change the color when you get it threw the app it wants you to download when you plug it in

    Truthful.
    No, no and no! This is a piece of garbage. A wired keyboard should be handsfree connection 100% of the time you plug it in it works. Not this junk 2-3 times a day it disconnects amazing it has so many positive reviews but looking more closely a lot of complaints that are left unpatched.

    Need to replace keyboard, this is worthless.
    Keyboard does not work, some keywords can't type and I'm returning it and replacing with a brand new one, this is not it. Walmart please do better!

    NO LIGHT FOR THE LETTERS
    I wanted a lighted keyboard to use for a low lit area. This was NOT the right choice. The backlight makes the letters completely disappear. The setting can be adjusted from blinding blue, to off so it is still usable as a basic keyboard. Don't purchase this if you need to see the letter keys better in a dim room. Save your money, and chose a different model. It's a decent keyboard with set up options that may suit someone, but not me. Lack of lighting options is the reason for a lost star. Unfortunately for me, this will be just another keyboard sitting in a closet collecting dust..... NEXT!

    Excellent cheap keyboard
    The keys are very responsive. I like typing on this keyboard. I can feel the key go down and up. The backlit keys work well for me, though you can't see through the keys themselves. The default light setting worked for me but I played around a bit. It's a good keyboard for office work or for gaming. I don't play a lot of first person shooters but I play a lot of real time RPGs and this keyboard works well for that.

    Dont blame the keyboard.
    I liked the price for the quality of keyboard. The illumination is the critical issue. Back light is good if your eye sight is good, if not then keys need to be lit also. Would be able to get a keyboard with back light and key light at a descent price.
