Like tying a brick to your foot
These shoes are not relaxed at all. The tops of the shoes are so hard they bite into the top of your foot. It looks like they have padding there but they are hard as rocks. They were almost tolerable when I left the laces loose but then my foot slipped around in the shoes. My guess is a lot of these positive reviews are fakes, read them yourself and notice how similar they all sound with same length and comments. If you need shoes to kick someone real hard these are for you, but don't expect to go hiking afterwards.

    Awesome shoes
    If you normally wear a wide fit, consider trying normal wide. I found that these Scechers were extra wide around my ankles. Also they were stiff when I first put them on but after a brief walk, they formed perfectly to my feet. I wear mine all the time and I love them.

    Try before you buy
    Great looking shoes but not very comfortable. Insoles do not have the cushioning one would expect for walking/hiking and shoe laces will not stay tight.

    Great Price on Skechers Hiking Shoes
    Very good price on these shoes. Husband had worn this brand before, so wanted these. They did seem to run slightly small. We ordered the same size of the other Skechers hiking shoes, but had to return and upsize. No issues on return and reorder. Great value on a great shoe.

    First impression is very positive
    I've only been wearing three shoes for three days so these are my initial thoughts. They are a good fit for my wide feet. the for is getting even better as i wear them. They appear to be well constructed, time will tell on that. They do run true to size. I normally wear size 9.5WW and these were exactly that. Any good hiking shoe is sturdy and can't be expected to feel like a soft leather moccasin. These shoes are more comfortable than I expected initially and seem to be getting more comfortable as I break them in. Well worth the price.

    Great pair of shoes!!
    The shoes look great first of all. They are extremely comfortable and firm at the same time. The waterproofing is evident in the shoe lining and solid tongue. Air cushion and memory foam insoles are incredibly relaxing for your feet. Excellent craftsmanship, all quality material and great design make these shoes one of the best I have ever bought.

    Better Dog Walks In The Woods
    These shoes have the same comfortable fit and “memory soles” I've liked since my first pair of Skechers. The added water proofing is great since our dogs wade in streams. No more wet socks if you slip on the rocks. I am very happy with these and have order a pair for my partner as well.

    So far they seem pretty good. I started right off with a 3 mile walk. The first mile was kept close in case I needed to return, new shoes and all, need to be careful in case they started to hurt. But they felt pretty good so I kept going. I even ended up in a muddy spot (construction) and the right shoe went down in and over the top in it. I thought, darn it, brand new shoes and I stepped in deep mud, it wasn't watery mud, but still mud. None seem to penetrate the canvass, and when I got home, I took a toothbrush to them to clean them up in the sink, and there was practically no muddy junk left on them after the cleanup. Remarkably even the bottom of the shoe was completely clean without even touching them. I hope that is the way there were designed, and not just because there was maybe some oily manufacturing residue left on them. Again, this was first use out of the box. So far, I am very impressed.

    Yeah, I'm definitely a Skechers fan
    This is my third pair of this shoe. I've wore the last pair for over three years almost daily. Even if they hadn't lasted this long, I would still be happy with just the comfort. At 6'1” and 240, I guess I'm harder on shoes than most. This latest pair will be my “dress” pair until the second pair replaces my “lawn
