Spiral sliced ham steaks
I bought this ham a couple of weeks ago. $2.28 lb. I bought this one because it's spiral sliced, easier to deal with. Or so I thought! We cooked the ham today and went I went to "slice it", the slices were 1/2 inch thick! The ham tasted fine but I had to get the knife out to slice it anyway, couldn't work with it otherwise. Disappointed considering the price...

Angry and disappointed.
Purchased ham on Dec 7 and paid $25.86 for it. Went to fix it on Dec 24 and much to my dismay I saw that the tag indicated the ham was best if used by Dec 12,2021. Since when does a ham expire in 5 days?? I basically purchased an expired ham.

    Terrible used to be great Sam's choice spiral ham
    Something has changed with this ham. It was delicious! The last 2 I have purchased, have a slime type coating that wasn't there previously. We ate a little of it last time, did not make us sick, but I was hesitant to purchase again. I purchased a second time, same slime substance as before and awful taste!! Please figure this out

    not please. so goodbye walmart
    ruined todays dinner i use curbside for health reason. paid $37 on recp. refund will be $25 ham was one week out of date before you put in my car. now I have to come inside to return spoiled ham. no thank you. will go to kroger now

    Total disappointment!!! I want my money back!!!
    For this to be a (Sam's Choice) ham, it was the absolute worst ham I have ever purchased. The ham had large areas of fat around the bone and in other parts of the meat to the point that the so called slices were so divided by fat that they literally fell apart into small pieces and you could not even get a quarter slice in 1 piece!! Terrible!! It was a good thing I had a Food Lion ham also, which had beautiful slices as a good ham should.

    Meh! A disappointment
    Not bad enough to have Walmart put in it their dumpster, so I didn't seek a refund, but... The glaze applied at the factory was gritty with sugar or salt crystals. The slices were irregular with only a few thin enough for sandwich use and the others too thick to be ham steaks yet not thick enough to too reslice. While not totally flavorless, it tried hard to be.
