I would give this zero stars if possible.
This is the worst car seat we've ever had. I've installed this car seat numerous times in different vehicles. Sometimes I can get it secured and most of the time I can't. I don't have issues with our two other car seats of different brands. This car seat is frustrating to install and isn't as secure as others.

    Kind of hard to install but my baby seems to enjoy it
    So no hate at all I do like this car seat (although it is the only car seat I have ever bought) but the installation isn't as easy as the booklet shows nor the videos I've seen on YouTube. But I did as the booklet said and instead of using the provided straps and latches I used my seat belt and threaded it through the seat. Now this sucks. The padding is sharp and extremely hard to get your hand through, I have small hands and it was a painful time getting it through. But once through I buckled it in and pulled as tight as I could and the bottom or base of the seat was secured. Wouldn't even move a quarter inch. However with the rear facing installation the top part of the car seat where the baby's head goes moves around. Like it's loose and needs to be secured. Nowhere does anyone say that this is supposed to be that way, not in the booklet not in the brands YouTube video. However after reading all the reviews and watching many videos on a lot of platforms I finally saw someone talk about it and apparently it's supposed to be that way. Over all it takes less than five minutes to install and it's super easy to buckle kiddo in and he seems to enjoy being cocooned in there so 4 stars. Oh also the cooling fabric is awesome especially being in Texas with temps being 100+. My son is a sweater, and with our long commute 40+ mins to his grandmas daily he comes out dry and no red faces! One taken off for the skin that was taken off my hands

    I love this car seat! And my son is so comfortable in it, he always falls asleep. I guess the only think I didn't like was putting it in because you have to take the seatbelt and push it through the car seat to clip it on the other side, you need someone with tiny hands because I about broke mine. But other then that the car seat is awesome and cozy. I actually ordered another for my mom because once you get it in your car, trust me you don't want to take it out.

    As first time grandparents who were being told we had to spend upwards of $300+ to get an acceptable car seat, which is out of out budget, we were thrilled to find this one online. It arrived in perfect condition and not knowing how to install it, we were able to attend a car seat check event at our local police station. There we were given through lessons on how to properly use and had it expertly installed by a car seat "whisperer!" Now we can confidently take our precious "cargo" anywhere without any fear of a mishap. Plus they provided us with a car seat guide for future reference and a CHAD,(child has an identity), sticker. Every car seat should have one of these stickers. Maybe they could be included in the box with each car seat??

    Great for infants and toddlers...
    This car seat is easy to install, it's great for infants and even toddlers. However, the booster part does not seem safe at all. There is no strap holder, I feel like the lap belt doesnt fit well either like it could just slip right off during an accident. My 6.5 year old is in the booster part but barely by an inch (literally) and she just doesnt look safe. The straps are digging into her neck and her 5 yr old brothers neck and they cannot go down anymore. I may need to just replace the strap covers??

    Big safety concern
    Had my son in this seat for 6 months, everything has been good until now, it has started leaning more and more and now he is almost falling over in it. Yes we have put it in correctly and it still does it.

    Two in a row FAIL
    The first one I got I didn't want in that color but the one I wanted was sold out. Okay, it happens, I should have kept looking for another one. The first one installed great, seemed comfortable for my kiddo and worked properly. Unfortunately after two months (about 25 uses) the tether strap between the legs started fraying. Bad seem, I guess but it spread up 6 inches within two trips... Not good, no replacement part, had to replace whole seat.... Two months. My color wasn't available but the one I originally wanted was, okay, awesome. Send it. Between waiting for responses and delivery, I waited almost two weeks - unacceptable. Second one looks great. Installs great. Then.... Yep, I got one with the tightening problem. It is literally impossible for me to tighten using the tether strap. I Have to tighten from behind the seat, which isn't ideal in any situation but I have a compact car and can barely reach behind the seat. NOT HAPPY! I'm a single mom and you have now wasted the two most precious things that I have (besides my precious cargo of course): time and money. I don't understand how this straps issue is even a possible after years and years of complaints. After the first seat worked properly, I thought the problem was resolved. What is going on?! I'm just so upset.

    I like everything about this seat except the base is narrower than the seat and allows for side to side wobble no matter how tight you pull the anchor strap. Plus side is it fits very well in the car and its not as heavy as most seats.

    not for the price
    not exactly impressed. my 6 no old baby doesn't like all the cushioning so there goes that appeal. it's a pain to get the belt through the designated slots due to the cover being so stiff and firm in place and it has already started to come unthreaded from doing this only 4 times. I've had it not even a month. I wouldn't waste your money .
