Lessened time to plane
The only problem I had with the installation was the pressure installation. I had to drill the holes for installation. I lost the first one because of the vibration. Although manufacturer replaced for free.

    The installation went well and the boat goes on plane much quicker If you have a high horsepower boat motor that takes several seconds to reach a plane, I would highly recommend this device

    Outstanding
    I am impressed with this Hydrofoil, it used to take 12 seconds to get my boat up on plane with two people in it. After installing this Hydrofoil on my mercury 40 hp four stroke, in now only take 5 seconds to get up on plane. The Hydrofoil keeps the nose of the boat down, so the boat rises up out of the water faster. I did lose about two mph, while running in to the wind, but not when I run with the wind. The boat is a 16.5 foot aluminum bass boat, and it rides much smoother with the Hydrofoil, and handles very well. If I sell or trade my boat, I will keep my Hydrofoil for the next one.
