easy to stow, easy to carry, easy to use. right out of the box. nothing to put together. easy to figure out. my son took it camping right away. it keeps you off the cold ground and away from bugs. this also came in handy for an overnight friend. its a firm cot. your rump wont sag down in the center. at home we put a foam pad on top too to make it more bed like. this is very handy. it did get wet at camping as it rained while they broke camp. it dried just fine and and be wiped clean. then it went back in the closet to stow till we need it again. this will fit a six foot long person as my son is 6' 1" and did not overhang it. when folded it has a handle to carry it. it is well designed and you can hook gear to the open spaces so your flash light is handy, cell phone and anything you need that you can hang. you can stow some gear below. its very stable when you open it all up. i like the lower profile to it. if you tent camp , this should be in your supply stash.

Showed up already broken
For anyone considering buying, it might not be with it. Would have been a great cot. Exactly what I was looking for except it showed up already broken. A plastic clip near the head of the cot was broken which renders it pretty much useless. I worry that the rest of the clips would not have held up after continual use. Will be returning.

    terrible quality
    We bought 5 of these to go camping. 2/5 of them arrived broken. The ones that did work were comfy. it's easy to setup and transport. I wish these were made of higher quality. Luckily, Walmart made it right and gave us a refund.

    Check your items right away, beware of the damages
    The items arrived broken and without an original package. See pictures please. The items smell like a cigarette smoke. Please send me new, unused, unopened, in its original package cots. I am sure Walmart received the items from the vendor, Ozark Trail, in excellent conditions, in its original packaging.

    the structure supports my weight but there are no crossbars etc. digging into me. it's like i am floating 6" off the ground. i take naps on my deck with this. it's great.

    Comfortable and affordable. Buy it!
    My bf and I have been living together for 1.5 years but I am moving to the opposite side of the country for grad school so I decided I need to practice sleeping away from him in preparation for living on my own. I found this cot and took a chance on it because it is cheap but has good reviews. I topped it off with a foldable, portable mattress topper from Amazon and have been sleeping on the cot ever since I picked it up from Walmart. I sleep so well on it every night and am so happy with my purchase! It does not come with instructions, but it is so easy to set up and to fold up when not using. Be sure to push on a not-so-obvious button on one of the sides of the legs on either end (photo included of me pushing the button) to fold the legs in, then fold in the outer quarter ends, then in half. Super easy! You will be hard-pressed to find a cheaper cot at this comfort level. Plus, my bf crawls into the cot with me every morning to cuddle because I wake up later than him and it holds us up no problem (Max weight limit is 300lbs). I highly recommend!

    Sturdy Camping Cot
    This is a very compact, low rise camping cot and those attributes make it easy to transport and store. I used it as an extra bed this weekend when my grandchildren came to visit. I tried it out myself before they came to visit and it is relatively comfortable and it feels quite sturdy. It says it will hold up to 300 pounds. We love to camp so I'm looking forward to using this in the Spring when we can hopefully start camping again. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to camp, or is in need of a low profile easy to store extra bed.

    It doesn't get any easier than this. No tools needed. Just take it out the box and unfold. The stitching is very sturdy and so is the frame. It's light to carry too. The little kids love that it's low. It's perfect for them to sit on to watch a movie. I'm going to use it for company sleep-overs mostly. It's really long so even the tall guys won't fall off of the ends. The fabric looks like it will clean up easily. Extra supports and not just the usual 3. Convenient carrying handles.

    Comfortable and perfectly portable!
    The Ozark Trail Compact Folding Cot is the perfect addition to your camping equipment! This low profile cot is actually surprisingly comfortable! Since I wasn't able to test this out while camping, I set this up in my living room. The setup is very simple and only takes seconds! There are only two buttons you press, one on each end of the cot, and then the cot can be unfolded. The legs on each end easily snap into place and the leg in the middle goes into place on its own. The construction of this cot is great. It's made of very lightweight steel and a thicker, strong fabric for the actual part you rest on. The fabric is easy to clean by wiping with a damp, soapy, cloth, then rinsed and air dried. One thing I really like about this cot is how compact it is. It folds up into quarters and securely closes with hook and loop closures on each side. There's also a convenient handle for carrying. I think this would be a great cot for anywhere you need an extra sleeping surface. The fact that it takes up so little space when it's folded up, there's really no excuse not to take it everywhere with you.

    Sturdy and compact for storing
    The compact design of this cot is great for transporting and storing. When folded this cot is only about 24" tall and wide. It has a convenient handle for carrying and weighs just over 12 pounds, so not at all heavy. When the cot is unfolded it is 6 feet 3 inches long. This is very low profile being only about 8 inches off the ground. We have used it in the back yard mostly just to test it out and it sure beats laying on the cold, hard ground. It is comfortable and feels strong and sturdy. The specs say that it will hold up to 300 pounds and it seems like it would be strong enough for that. There is very little sag when you lay on the cot which is good and you don't feel the support bars on your back. The stitching seems to be good quality and like it will last. These would come in handy for sleep overs as well!
