Love this!
I hate cooking but this pot set makes it fun. It sounds silly but i love the colors. They cook evenly and wash up great. Impressed with the color not coming off or fading.

Pretty but disappointing
I really really wanted to love this set of cookware but it is far from ideal if you cook a lot like me. It's incredibly cute to look at and feels like out of the box but the first time I used it to fry bacon the pan started smoking like crazy which left a big black mark that couldn't be washed off inside it. I cleaned everything before use so it couldn't even have been a coating on the set. I wanted to give ir another chance so I used it to brown some stew meat later that day, walked away for a minute and when I came back my kitchen was full of smoke and another black mark had appeared inside the new pot. This morning was the last chance I was gonna give this cookware set so I used the smaller pot for my daughters oatmeal... and again, the extreme amount of smoke and black marks! I don't know if I got a faulty set or something but I cook at least once everyday and have never experienced this before. This set might do the trick for you if all you do is boil pasta and heat up leftovers but for an everyday home chef it's worth spending extra and getting a better set.

    JUST GO TO THE STORE.
    IF you've read the reviews you've seen the " they are scratched". Which is correct. I received mine yesterday. I JUST opened it and when I say I'm disappointed. Is an Understatement. The Scratches aren't a big thing but when I buy them for the design and the design is peeled off or burnt off. Makes it worthless. More are like this. Just a warning. Be best to go to the store. I

    Came in poor condition. Scratches and dents!
    We were so excited for this set to complement our kitchen. When we received it (a day later than expected) we opened it up to find it damaged. It was not damaged in transit as both the shipping box and box inside were just fine. The items were all wrapped but still scratched up and dented. The handles on many of the items were scratched up and one of the pans was dented! When I called Customer Service they were able to help with an exchange / but now we have to wait another week for what we paid for! UGH quality control PLEASE! I wish I could submit more than 2 pictures because everyone of the 20 pieces was damaged in some way.

    Love the set but one pan was scratched :(
    I would have gave 5 stars but I was a little disappointed when I first took the plastic off one of the pots, it looked almost used (just the one pot) it had a scratch on the handle and inside the pot was a black ring as if it had been used. The rest of the utensils were good in fact I loved them so much I didn't want to go through the trouble of returning and getting another set. It was a small scratch and it came all wrapped and in the box so I'm not sure if it happened during shipping or what. I would still recommend because everything was beautiful

    Egh couple problems
    I wanna give 1 star because i waited 2 weeks for 20 piece finally gave in to this one. Wouldn't you know the day this delivered 20 piece back. But I guess I'll look past. I actually do have 2 problems maybe it's just me on one. First one a couple of the handles weren't covered all the way by that plastic closet to the pots where they connect. So they did get badly scratch. The other is all the pots color wise are amazing they all match well EXCEPT the biggins. Anyone else see in my photos that it's the only one with yellow on top the purdy blue and pinks are on bottom of the handles. None of the others like that, and it's not just screwed in so I can flip them. Please tell me it's not just my ocd. But other than those couple minor things shipping was quick and they seem doing good. I dry as soon I wash them so no water spots on mine.

    Beautiful but not very functional
    The Mainstays Iridescent Stainless Steel Cookware Set is very eye-catching and definitely stands out visually amongst other cookware. While the iridescent handles are undoubtedly beautiful, I am disappointed by the quality of the pans. The handles get too hot and you need potholders to prevent getting burned. These pans cannot handle high heat as per the instructions, but even on medium heat the handles are too hot to touch. The pans smoke very quickly which causes the food to get stuck and leave marks. No matter how many times I wash it the stains won't come off. I always make sure to use oil or cooking spray and the food always sticks to the pan. Cleaning the pans is so frustrating! I've soaked the pans with hot water and soap for 20 minutes to see if that would remove the stains but it doesn't. The included utensils - spoon, slotted spoon and slotted turner have the same beautiful iridescent finish as the pan handles, but after a few washes the paint is already starting to fade. While the lids are convenient, the screws on the knobs have already started to loosen so I had use a screwdriver to tighten them several times. I cook everyday and unfortunately this won't be the set I'll be reaching for first. The quality of cooking is not what I expected it to be.

    Good For Boiling Not For Frying
    When this was first delivered I couldn't believe a whole dish set could fit in the box because it looked too small. Once I opened it I saw that the pots and pans were small. The pots are very pretty I like the colors and the stainless steel together. Love the fact that every pot has a lid. The biggest pot and pan uses the same lid. The handles get too hot and should have some type of other material over them. I wont even use the spoons, stainless against stainless is a no no. I fried sausages on very low and also sprayed with cooking spray but the food still stuck to the pan. I think these pots are good for food with liquid involved not for frying. My rice and vegetables come out great.  I would say this set will be good for a individuals first apartment with a small budget

    Nice cookware set and it's rainbow!!
    This is a beautiful cookware set and so far I am very happy with it. Shiny silver mixed with beautiful iridescent handles. Everyone loves rainbow colors they are beautiful. The food I have cooked in them so far has turned out great with no issues with sticking and then clean up is really easy. The are easy to hand wash or put in the dishwasher. I really like that it comes with 3 different sized pots, serving utensils and a saute pan. I do wish the saute pan was a little bigger though its only about the size of my hand. Based on the picture on the box I was thinking it would be bigger. I have 5 boys and a husband to cook for so I need a bigger one bc I have to cook large servings. I wish it was bigger but I am sure it would be the perfect size for others, so it's not too small. The handles do get somewhat hot but mostly just on the lids. I haven't used this product longer enough to know if the color will stay or how they will hold up but so far so good. I would recommend them to someone, in fact I plan to buy the same set to give as a wedding gift

    This has great features!
    The Mainstays Stainless Steel Cookware Set, Iridescent, 10 Piece really upgrades my kitchen by it's unique colorful design and comes with everything I use on a daily basis and is perfect to sear, saute, braise, and make sauces! I like how these are made lightweight and stainless steel with a iridescent handle that seems to be durable and easy to grip onto. The triple layered base makes it nice because it allowed more of a even heating that quickly got hot. When cooking I noticed the pans to be better then I expected, using the metal utensils that come with the set there was no scratches or scrapes and the food did not stick to pans. The pans and utensils do get hot so make sure to have a pot holder handy. Also the lids are able to with stand heat and do not shatter or crack when cooking or baking in the oven. I did notice a minimal amount of stain after washing but nothing major to worry about. My overall thoughts I like that these are lightweight and easy to hold, comes with everything I need to make a meal, have a unique colorful design that does not fade, easy to clean and dishwasher safe, function and handle well, made with good quality and durability that will last a long time.

    Gorgeous Addition!
    Upon opening this cookware set, it was hard to miss how pretty the iridescent accents were! They pot lid knobs, handles and the 3 pieces of serving utensils all have that beautiful finish. I love the selection of pots, you can cook most meals with what is included. These are all made from heavy weight, stainless steel. The handles and knobs are sturdy and put on very well. I made gravy in the dutch oven. It heated up very quickly, nothing stuck and no stains were left behind after rinsing. I was also able to wash it in the dishwasher with no ill effects. I am just so happy with this set; they are very unique and great quality! I highly recommend!
