I love MSI!
Ignore the bad reviews. Everything you need is in the box. It also comes with an HDMI cable. I had an extra Display Port cable laying around, so I used that instead. There's a red button on the back of the monitor that lets you adjust the brightness, contrast, etc. I bought this as a 2nd monitor for a dual setup, but it's good enough to be the primary. I love MSI!

Missing parts
The monitor did not come with a full power cord. Missing the half that connects to the wall. Really delays my planned set up and hopefully there is a way to get the remaining half or I will be returning this.

    Do not buy this
    Garbage!!! Purchased this monitor in July. In November dead pixels covered half of the screen. It starts from the start bar and spreads over the half screen. MSI honored the warranty, but I have to pay the shipping, one way only costs $75.00 I bought it on sale for $119.00, so the shipping cost is more then 50% of the purchase price. It is going straight to the garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS!

    It went bad fast
    Do not buy this! I got this exact monitor and it's known to burn it's self and cause damage to the screen making it go bad and being a waste of money

    Great monitor. physically a weak screen
    Comes with everything unlike what many people keep saying. the monitor is good. i just wished the screen was built tougher on the edges because there was a annoying fly in my room buzzing around and he landed close to my monitor and when i tried to hit the fly the monitor tipped face fist and i wasnt able to catch it and it landed on my sim racing wheel that was at same height as the monitor and the screen cracked up top. the bad thing was that it barely made any contact when it cracked. i was getting two more of these to run triple screen but now i am set back a little because i gotta replace the one i already have

    Works as intended but didn't ship complete
    It's a great monitor and shipping was accurate. My only issue and reason I can't go higher than a 3 is because I didn't receive a power cable. The product works perfectly but you can't sell something incomplete. I just had one laying around that I used. I wouldn't ignore the bad reviews either, I saw a few others with the same issue.

    Now I can see 40/40, I use my Xbox series s, I need 120fps for most of the games, good monitor for gaming.

    Glitchy after Few months ownership Not Cool
    Stopped working After the return period ended 1 month after it ended. This was a great monitor but my DVI port is failing, This is not ok for a monitor this price It should at least last as long as the Manufacturers warranty, which is what im gonna have to do to get fixed. It upsets me tho cause i believe msi is a great brand this product and Retailer gets 2/5 for the Inconvenience this is causing And 3/5 for the Monitor as its A ok monitor if it works and last Mine didn't and it had mabe less then 1100 hours bein on Sad to say but im geting the g series Samsung curved monitors Once my MSI comes back from the Manufacturer I'll list it on sale for 150$ and if no one buys it Ill simply keep it as a second monitor and if DVI goes out again Ill use HDMI

    a beast of a monitor for the price
    I bought this monitor because I am planning on getting a next-gen console in the near future and I must say this is amazing even on my Xbox One X it runs like a dream so much customizability including response time and even a Crosshair if you want it.

    Thrilled But Later Disappointed
    Beautiful display. Very sharp and lovely colors. Big defect called under scanning. This is when the image does not go all the way to the edges of the screen. On mine the top is about 1/4 inch low and the sides about 1/8 inch not wide enough. I have tried every way possible with Nvidia settings and found out that other people have the same problem with MSI. Their tech support people are clueless and condescending. My spouse has an edge to edge view with her Acer monitor so I cannot believe all monitors have my issue but MSI sure does!
