Perfect upgrade
I bought this unit 2 weeks ago to replace my older HDS unit. I had plans on networking a couple units together, but never wanted to use the NMEA backbone system. With the wireless connectivity, this was just what I was waiting for. I also just bought the 7" Ti2 to network with this one. Today was my first day on the water with the two units and they worked great!

Overall really good
I bought the cmap version expecting better map resolution than the units of the past. In product description it say preloaded high definition mapping which is far from the truth. Im luckt to have difference between water and land, thats hiw bad preloaded mapping us. I have been a diehard lowrance fan for many years and with the advancements in technology and the amount of money spent i would have expected much more. My mapcreate maps from 10 years ago have much more detail than these units. Need to be much clearer on product description than what they are. If you plan on buying the mapping cards you will be fine and i didnt expect these to show every little detail but i did expect a whole lot more than what i got. Now will have to spend 300 more for mapping cards.

    This is a great unit for an awesome price. This unit is large enough and has enough clarity, detail, and functionality for most fishermen. I have two of these and they work great. It also comes with the three in one (3N1) transducer. That transducer is used by the newer Live units. It's a great buy.

    Excellent unit
    Far easier to sit up than I thought. Unit is much better and clearer than any sonar I have used. I am a humminbird owner Sure glad I didn't listen to my fishing buddies about this lowrance

    This is an amazing unit. Does everything I wanted (downscan, sidescan, 2D sonar) and more. The image quality is excellent and it's super easy to use. Installation was a breeze. I would highly recommend this unit to any serious recreational fisherman.

    Amazing clarity!
    Learning the sidefinder technology. Found this girl in 7' of muddy water on a bed yesterday. Dropped a Tx rig tube where graph marked her and Wham,,,fight was on. Thanks Lowrance,,,your graphs are easy to learn and accuracy is Excellent!!!
