Perfect for large batch of food
I received this free from a free sample program. My mother in law uses this to cook our favorite Pansit, a filipino noodle dish. It's perfect for it cause the size won't let you down. It could fit such huge amount in it. Also, you won't have trouble with the mess cause the structure is great. Is deep and wide at the same time. The handles are very ergonomic too. It's lightweight too compared to the traditional cast iron wok. Cleaning is very easy. Can't wait to cook more dishes in here!

Disappointed – we had three and they all cracked
I have experience with cast iron woks. We prefer them to any other material. They're easy to maintain and they cook well. But we have had three of these and NONE of them lasted more than a year. Every single one fractured ( see photo). The first one was my fault due to shocking it with room temperature water while it was still hot. But the other two just fractured spontaneously while cooking or while cooling off after cooking IMUSA must have a problem with their cast-iron fabrication. It appears as though the metal has internal stresses and it doesn't take much to cause it to break.

    Inside coating is peeling like paint
    This wok quickly became our go to cookware. Used nylon utensils. Seasoned it after each use. But we can no longer tolerate the significant peeling of the inside coating. Not a feel good sight. Parting with it today.

    Very good wok for the price
    I received this product as part of a free sample program. I have used the wok twice since receiving. I already own a wok from another brand, so I will compare this wok to my other wok that I have owned for a little over two years. Of all of my cookware, a wok is probably the tool I use the most in my cooking. I use my wok at least 5 of the 7 days of the week. This wok is larger than my other wok. If one is looking for a large wok (say to cook for a large family), this would be perfect. The wok is pre-seasoned so I only use a bit of oil (mostly sesame oil or olive oil) for added taste. Clean up is very easy, I just let it cool and then wipe it clean with some warm water. Some of the benefits of owning this wok is that it is large enough to prepare larger meals, clean up seems easy, and it requires little to no oil for non-stick preparation. This is a product that I may buy if I didn't already own a wok. I would recommend this product to my friends or family if they were looking for a wok. The only thing that I wasn't thrilled about was the color: I received the sample in the color black. I personally do not like black cookware: I love color in my kitchen. But I see that the wok comes in another color at the Wal-Mart (I may have selected the grey if given a choice). Also, since I live in a small apartment, I'm not sure where I will store it. My current cookware is stackable to easily store in a cupboard, but I can probably find a place for it somewhere in my kitchen. If one owns a larger kitchen or home, I'm sure they would be able to find a place for it. I prepared some ground pork with mushrooms and onions and it was quick and easy to make with no sticking, I used just a few drops of sesame oil for flavor. I always use wooden or silicone utensils as to not scratch any of my cookware. I also have a gas stove, so I'm not sure how it would perform with other heat sources (induction, electric, etc).

    IMUSA 14" Light Cast Iron Pre Seasoned Wok
    I received this product as part of a free sample program and I'm glad I did. I was looking for a good wok for a long time because the other ones I bought weren't good (too heavy, scratched easily etc.). The IMUSA wok is much lighter compared to other woks I've used. It also comes pre seasoned with oil it says, but to me there wasn't much oil, it was very lightly coated, which is fine, because I was going to wash it before I used it (especially nowadays). The feature I cared for is that it isn't heavy, is nonstick and has sturdy handles. I made vegetable and chow mein stir fry in it, and it came out great. I can't wait to try other recipes. I would definitely buy the IMUSA wok and recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good light weight wok to cook in.

    This wok is very well made
    This wok is very well made and has good quality. It is non stick and easy to clean. Great addition to our cook wear. However, it is a bit heavy for me when use one handed tossing. We made stir fry on our first try. We are still experimenting with different things to cook. I can see more uses for this wok other than just stir fries. I highly recommend.

    Must have wok
    I loved this light cast pre seasoned wok. 14 " is a good enough size to make meal for 5 people or more. It is light weight. I loved the hook at the end to hang the wok. I made manchurian in it and my family loved it..I so appreciate the handle at the top which helps maintain balance during mixing. The wok is super easy to clean aswell. I love cooking in cast iron so this was the perfect addition to my family. I received this product free as a part of a sampling program.

    I absolutely love this wok. It is great quality and well made. I like the handles and look of the wok. Its sleek and looks great in my kitchen. It's definitely lightweight for being a cast iron wok. It's a pretty good size and I really like the depth. Very easy to clean and maintain.I made some chicken with veggies and it came out great. You really don't need that much oil with this wok. I can't wait to make more recipes. I definitely recommend this wok to anyone who is looking for a great quality one.     All purpose wok
    I received this light cast iron wok as part of a free sample program. I prepare food from scratch for my family daily and the size of this wok is perfect for me. Over these past few days, I had tried using it for stir fry vegetables, deep fry fish recipe and sear some meats. Food turn out fine and wok has been working great for now. Only thing that I do not like is that even thought it was suppose to be made of light weight cast iron, I think it is still a bit heavy for me. But I like it since the size is perfect for me to prepare tasty meals for my family. The bakelite handle also helps that I can easily toss my fried rice, instead of the stainless steel handle that some wok has.

    A little disappointed.
    This looks like the one I bought a while ago. It was great for a while. I didn't use it on a consistent basis. After a while I noticed the coating starting to peel. I sure didn't want that in my food. Then on the bottom where it peeled it started to rust. If it could be stripped and reseasoned maybe it would be ok. I don't have time for that so I just got a stainless steel wok.
