Worth it
Perfect for our kayaks, our racks decline and the width on the front is almost non existing so we used wing nuts instead of the boxed bulky plastic cased ones. Works well either way! Worth getting!

Literally unusable.
Absolute trash. Not sure what I was thinking, we all already know Hyper Tough is a horrible cheap brand but I thought I'd give them a short anyway. Poor quality materials, incomplete instructions, cheap design, and the included bolts are way too long to be used kn any standard vehicle as they won't allow the carrier to be tightened down without the bolts ripping through the roofs finish. 0 stars.

These don't fit securely on your roof rack!
bolts securing the racks to my roof rack are way too long and dig into the roof of the car or truck, and the rack doesn't sit securely to the roof rack, i had to put wood under the rack to use these!

Good but way over priced now
It works just fine ive done 30 mile trips and no problems. I wouldnt buy this for 61.00 that it is priced now when you can find way way better elsewhere for cheaper. Its worth the normal 35ish price it was at when I bought it.

Easy to assemble. Directions aren't the best, but it's pretty easy to figure out. They are sturdy and have worked great so far.

    TRASH
The bars weren't machined correctly to line up with the holes and the thumb bolts had plastic in the tread. had to heat up the bolt to melt out the plastic also had to use a dremel to bore out the over hang room for the bolts. Waste of money save and get better ones.

These racks are ok. They do work. I ordered 2 sets. 1 set came without the required screws and bolts. I called the company and they are sending what is needed. The ratchet straps are thin but ok to use. Going to buy better ones.

Easy to assemble. Though its not collapsible, or easy to store, I did not see a reason to pay 3x as much for a Thule...and I was right.

Cheap, not good for use with square cross bars.
Not good design for aftermarket square universal cross bars. Cannot tighten enough to where these cant be easily twisted down and the long screws literally dug into the paint down to the bare metal on the roof. Good thing this is my beater, had to clean it and use nail polish to stop the rust hopefully. These are pretty flimsy, foam is starting to come off after first loading. Very budget, might be ok for super small kayaks but our 12 footers are pushing it. If you have longer flat cross bars I am guessing these would work better in preventing lateral twisting motion. Considering using sawsall to cut bolts down so they dont gouge roof everytime I dont perfectly get kayak on both mounts at the same time.
