Awesome bike rack!
I installed a 1.25” class 1 hitch on my 2014 Toyota Prius and used this bike rack to transport an adult hybrid bike on a 600 mile road trip and it performed amazingly. Very easy to load and secure the bike. Bike is very stable in both spots, however if you only have one you'll minimize air drag and get better gas mileage by putting it closer to the car. The one notification I made is I added bungle cords to pull it closer to the rack and minimize movement, and I attached a cable lock between bike and hitch. Bike sways slightly in turns but is very stable on winding highways or when driving through gravel parking lots.

Spend a little more and get better quality
It's cheap and got completely suck in my 2” hitch. Luckily I was able to remove the hitch and pound out the rack and adapter from the back. If you buy this for a 2” DO NOT use the adapter, but a 2-1.25” reducer hitch to attach it to. The construction is metal, but the most important pieces are plastic. The plastic adapter for your hitch, the locking handles for the bikes both wheels and frame are plastic. I don't expect this to last very long. It did do its job for a 3,000 mile cross country trip, but the plastic is already showing wear after 1 trip.

    Surprised and delighted
This is a much nicer bike rack than I expected. It was easy to put together and I was able to install it myself. It is a stripped down version of fancier bike racks. In order to adjust the arms or swing it out of the way, you have to remove cotter pins - which isn't that big of a deal but it is worth noting. And you have to take off the bikes and remove more pins out in order to lay the tall pedestal down in order to open the back door. Not a big deal for me. Since I do a lot of street parking I needed a bike rack that could be installed and removed easily. And this one can be removed in a matter of moments. So far I'm very pleased and would recommend this rack.

    Very convenient, sturdy built product.
Fairly easy set up, have bikes handy during set up to set up once! Great for my truck, folds down under tailgate, doesn't need to come off to get in bed of truck. great product if you like to bike and hike!

Tested at Highway speeds over 1800 miles
Took this bike rack on an 1800 mile road trip this summer with 2 bikes. I was really impressed at the stability and quality of it. I wasn't sure how it would hold up after reading some the reviews. It was very sturdy. You can't beat this price for the quality you are getting. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good rack at an affordable price.

Good bike rack for a great price.
Good rack for the money. It's sturdy and works well for my application. BMX race bikes and Hardtail XC mountain bikes. Two things I don't like about this rack. Takes time to adjust for different wheel sizes. Does not tip back for door access for a minivan. The top pole folds down when the bikes are off. These are minor gripes for the price. If you have one bike its set and forget. Bike goes on fast and does not tear up the paint.

Hyper-Tough Bike Rack well worth the money.
I really like this bike rack. It is easy to mount the bike, and the bike rides well on it. The 1.25" is easy to put on and take off the car if you don't want to leave on all the time. I sprayed it with WD 40 to make it slide into the hitch easier. The assembly instructions are a bit difficult to follow, but you don't have to be an engineer to put it together. It fits into both 1.25" and 2" trailer hitches. One review said it was difficult to remove the 2" as the adapter catches. I use my rack for short distances (around town). I don't know if I would use it for long hauls. All in all, it is a very handy, sturdy bike rack for the money.

    Love It!
Had been looking at bike racks for a while. I made a rack that fit my Colorado truck bed and that worked pretty well, but I was still having to lift our bikes up and into the bed. Looked at this rack many times and thought it just couldn't be that great for $70. I was ready to spend $200 for a low-end rack with decent ratings, but kept coming back and looking at this bargin rack. I just decided to give it a try and so glad I did. This rack is everything we need. The bolt securing the rack in my 2" hitch is very solid. No anti-rattle device is needed. We have transported both of our cruiser bikes (about 40 lbs each) many times with no issues. I would not hesitate to take along the bikes on an extended road trip. Only issue I have had ... I have a tendency to really crank down on the clamp. This has caused a small rubbed spot to show on the top bike bar. As a temporary fix, I have started placing a folded microfiber cloth between the bar and the clamp. But, considering the price, quality and functionality of the rack I still have no problem giving it 5 stars. If you would rather spend $200-$300 on something other than a fancy bike rack, I would have no problem recommending this Hyper Tough Rack!

    80lb Capacity?
I purchased this to carry my ebike. Sice purchasing it, we bought an additional ebike for my wife. Total weight removing the batteries is at 90 lbs. I'm not recommending this to others, but I'm adding a ratchet strap around the spare wheel on my Jeep to reduce more stress on bike rack. I removed batteries from bike and will remove seats and will only be over a couple pounds of capacity. I see other reviews with similar bikes and wonder if they too are over limit with capacity. I'm very happy and have road tested some of the worst roads I can find with no issues. gets the job done at a reasonable price!

    Happy!
This works perfect for my Jeep Wrangler with the spare tire on the back. I have been looking everywhere for one! I ordered one through Quadratech, but it was back ordered for three months and the other one I had to return because it wouldn't fit. Both were in the 200 range. The only thing I dislike is the 2 inch Adapter, I usually use a locking pin. It is really easy to adjust the tire spacing and the quick lever that holds your bike down. I have had to use several bungees in the past to keep things from moving. It also gives you the option of just carrying one bike, since I meet my friends at the trail. If you go to the Walmart store to buy it, it is not near the bikes, it is in the automotive section.
