    A bit too wide.
    This holder is 2" wide. Our other metal holder is narrower (1-1/2) and sides are rectangular and holds the napkins better, especially when only a few are left.

    Perfect in every way.
    I shopped all the local stores, both big-box and small, and could not find a decent napkin holder under $15. This one is perfect. It has nice weight, a classy looking design, and the price is a steal! Ordering was easy, and it arrived at my local Walmart on the day promised. Highly recommend.
