So far so good .
I gave Air Conditioning a five because it works great so far I only had it since June 8,19 I had it put in on June 9th and it has been so cold in my house since I cut it on . At first I set it to 64% degree and it had my kitchen cold in an hour ,I went out after I had it put in and it was about 90% degrees out side and I came in through the kitchen and it was cold , it has not been a week yet so I am hoping it stays cold ,the weather change here where I live it got to 70% degrees so I set the controlstage to 70% degrees and when it get to 70 it shuts off and if it gets over 70 degrees it cuts back on so I don't have to bother it at all while we have these cool days right now ,I am so glad I took a chance on this 8000 B.T.U Air Conditioning and I hope it last as long as one of the older model I have it's a 5000 B.T.U and I have had it at lease 4 years and never had a problem with it.so I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good windows units .

Don't waste your money. And check your unit!
CHECK THE UNIT! First one the internal unit was cracked including the foam. Second one still is junk. Not worth the money doesn't even keep my bedroom cold. Such a waste of money!!

    Works like a dream
    Easy to install m. Blows well. Cools down a room immediately. Does everything it promises in its description and more. Buy this window air conditioner. You won't regret it. Love the wifi setting to be able to turn on while away to get room cooled down. Temperature works. We're leaving on economy to see what our electricity bill will be.

    Nice and cold!
    This a/c has been working fine so far. That being said I have always had a good history with GE appliances. I've had stoves, microwaves and other a/cs by GE that have lasted 10+ years still a little confused by some of the digital features but hopefully I'll figure them all out eventually. Also love the black color offered

    Great A/c.
    I like this air conditioner. I put it I my bedroom. My bedroom is an add on and it doesn't seem to cool off like the rest of my house. I gotta say this thing works pretty good. It shuts off when the room is cool, which saves on my electric bill. I love the black. It fit nice, and sealed up great. It was very easy to install.

    Worth it.
    Here in Southeast Idaho we have not hit the triple digits yet in late July but it is hot, I bought this window A/C for my bedroom and it was worth it. On the highest setting at 64 degrees my husband and I start to shiver so I keep this A/C on the lowest setting and sometimes even turn it off. I love it and have no regrets in getting this 8000 BTU window A/C.

    It came in damaged you can tell somebody had already returned it before probably for the same reason i sent it back and im still waiting to recieve a new one hopefully this one will come in better shape it was also a process to try to return since fedex wont print the label had to go to a ups just to print out the label then bring it back to fedex since that ups wasnt fedex compatible

    The product is disappointing
    Well it arrived on time and installed it two things that I really don't like but I'm not going to remove it from the window and do this again one is it's advertised with Wi-Fi but the app doesn't work if you read the reviews it's horrible impossible to connect. The next thing is and it's more important is every time it Cycles on the compressor is very noisy with a big thump noise very annoying other than that it works !

    She got great features
    It has not worked properly since the day I had it it says there's a code of e8 all the time and it does not cool I have to keep turning it off but you just sit and starting to back up I need to repair man to come fix it
