Unexcusable Quality Control Failure
The air conditioner vibrated horribly when installed, shaking the whole wall, clearly a QC failure. GE Tech chat would've cost $5 to talk about this GE problem, so we didn't do that. The person helping me install the unit was a mechanical engineer, and we determined on our own that the fan was unbalanced. We reached inside the unit and added enough hot glue to the appropriate fan blade to balance the fan (certainly not something a chat tech would've recommended), and this eliminated the vibration. The unit works well now, but it would've been a HUGE pain to ship it back if we hadn't accommodated the problem ourselves. I regret buying this AC from Walmart.

    Great buy
    I love the fact that this unit is very quiet. It was easy putting in the window and didn't take long at all. It cools my entire home. I like the energy saving settings also. The remote can be used from across the room which is nice. It has wifi and I like that because I can control it from away from home. This is an overall great buy.

    Great AC with WIFI remote connectivity
    This Ac has everything that i wanted in an AC unit. It is nice being able to remotly connect to it and turnt he AC down so the house is cool when coming home for a hot hard days work.

    Arrived damaged but still works. Puts out ice cold air and cooled down my 1,000 square ft shop in minutes. Very heavy so no wonder delivery person dropped it. Even though had huge dent, broken air deflector fins and power lights were flickering, it still threw out cold air. A beast!

    The air conditioner blows very cold air and cools very well. The shipping method was less than satisfactory. Our unit was dented in several places and the bracket to hold it in the window had to be straightened to get it to work. I did not take any photos.

    Air output is not very cold. My concern is that when we start having 90°F + days, this unit will not cool adequately?

    Well pleased!!!!
    We have just installed this air conditioner, but so far, we are well pleased with it. It's a lot quieter than the other one that we had, which was almost the same amt. of BTUs. It also cools well. Also, everything went well from the ordering process to the delivery. It came a day before it was scheduled for delivery, which was nice!!
