Awesome unit
I bought this same model in 2012, so this is my second one and I love it. It's easy to install and works great. I live in a moble home and it cools well. With the wifi connection this makes this ac even better! Price is good.. First thing you shop for is the size that will fit in your window and then hope you can find one to do the job.. This is the one for me when the time comes again, I'll buy GE ac again. Good quality

Definitely not recommended
Obviously these reviews do not reflect this A/C unit, the electric plug will not even plug into a standard outlet, the connectors are horizontal instead of vertical, it requires 230/208-volt AC with a single branch circuit to prevent overloading and possible fire hazard. The unit was delivered on its side with the up arrows pointing sideways ( very bad for a/c systems. If you are lucky enough to know and let it sit at least 24 hrs. It might be ok. Called the company that sold it through Walmart and they say they have no technical department and I should call Walmart. What a absolute joke, I have called them before and technical they were not. I will be returning this beast and go back to looking for a proper A/C unit.

    DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU HAVE A STANDARD THREE PRONG
    This doesn't have a standard US plug. Do not buy this it's a hassle and it's freaking heavy. We haven't been able to use it even with an adapter and it's so heavy I'm not sure how I'm supposed to take it back. I don't even know why they're selling this in the U.S

    Amazing buy!
    Love it! Cools the whole house! Usually keep it on 73 degrees and on low, or we're freezing in there. So it's worth getting!

    Insanely difficult installation. You have to take the whole thing apart. You also need to have a dryer type plug to plug it in.

    Inside is way cooler
    We decided on this unit because it would cool a large area, and installed it in our dining room. Now we're enjoying our cooler environment and are very comfortable. It's not loud, is working efficiently cooling our 1400 Sq. Ft. Space. We are very satisfied with our investment.

    NEED EASIER INSTALL AND TO INSTALL TOP RAIL GUIDE
    I DID NOT LIKE THAT WE HAD TO REMOVE THE INTERIOR OF THE AIR CONDITIONER UNIT TO PUT THE TOP RAIL GUIDE ON; THEN YOU HAVE TO PUT THE INTERIOR AIR CONDITIONER UNIT (MOTOR) BACK IN. THERE SHOULD BE A WAY TO JUST INSTALL THE AIR CONDITIONER IN THE WINDOW WITHOUT DOING THIS. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A LARGE AIR CONDITIONER, BUT A BETTER DESIGN IS NEEDED. THANK YOU. I'M TAKING OFF A POINT FOR THIS INSTALL ISSUE. SO FAR, WE ARE NOT HAVING ANY ISSUES WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER'S PERFORMANCE. THANK YOU.

    great a/c unit.
    Love this a/c unit. Everyone complains its too cold in here. LOL This is a fantastic a/c unit with a very good price. Other units with less btu's were a lot more expensive. Thank you walmart

    Didn't realize ac was a 220 instead of 110 but that's ok because 220 runs much moe efficiently Pleased that 18000btu AC cools my 1200 sq house

    So far so good
    AC UNIT is working well. Nice and cold and powerful. Wifi setup was pretty easy. Unfortunately, not compatible with Alexa or Google assistant, only the proprietary app. It's a bit glitchy. I got it setup fine, but now it's showing as offline. So that's frustrating, but the most important part is the cooling power.

    Works well even in this unbelievable Florida heat and humidity, and VERY quiet. Chose GE because it's a longtime trusted brand in our family, never disappoints.

    The cooler system is great, but when I choose eco model, the fan should be turn off when it reach settings temperature, but the fan never turn off, the temperature go into lower than I setting
