Walmart saved me from the summer heat. The GE air conditioner works great and I was happy to get the installation through Walmart for only $79. I am using the a/c on high. The thermostat is set at 78-81, and I actually get cold at times.

under 1 month STOPPED COOLING
didn't last 1 month! stop cooling. kept trying to connect to web and I didn't want web access. the window brace that come in the box is to small to hold the until safely. doesn't sit in the grove of the window cell. I'm by myself and couldn't uninstall and take back so I'm stuck with this GE junk that stop cooling in under 1 month!!!!!

    keeps the area very cool just leaks a lot
    the only reason I gave it a three is because it leaks so much and where we have it we have to constantly empty the bucket but it does keep the area cool as far as coolness yes I give it a five star

    STAYING COOL WITH GE'S 14000 BTU AIR CONDITIONER
    This GE 14,000 BTU(BRITISH THERMAL UNIT) 115-VOLT WINDOW AIR CONDITIONER IS AWESOME. It is smaller than the unit I just replaced and keeps both room and kitchen cool. I love the ease of self-installment at my window. I did have to get electrician to change outlet to accomodate this unit. However, I am extremely happy how it cools the living room and kitchen just like the bigger unit just replaced. I love the Economy Setting allowing for electricity savings. You can also control it via your smart phone. Love the technology.

    Great ac but Be cautious of ANGI "pros"
    The ac unit works great, even in 110 degree weather, the room stays nice and cool. DO NOT pay to have their "pros" to install as they hire ANGI people and they won't show up to do the install but you'll still have to pay for it and you won't get any satisfaction from Angi.

    I originally had this item delivered on May 3 I returned it because I received it damaged it's now May 10 I still have yet to receive a replacement, Walmart is very difficult to deal with

    Great quality, difficult installation
    It took forever to put together after you basically need to take it apart to get parts on it. I had an old GE AC with the same BTUs as this one that lasted me 20years so I am hoping this will do the same. A lot bigger and heavier than expected. It does kick on and off like it's supposed to and it is a lot quieter than some of the other ACs that I've owned. But it is a pain putting together. Would totally recommend having at least 2 patient people to put together and install.

    I recieved my AC and installed it, it does nto work no cooling properties and was a beast to install, you have to take the AC apart in order to get it to work.

    Buyer Beware
    Buyer Beware, it didn't even last a year. I bought it July 5th 2020 and it quit at the end of June 2021. With less than 6 months of actual use and it's totally done and will not turn on. We changed the GFI plug end and the wall receptacle first, hoping it was one of them gone bad- but nope, the unit is a total loss. We turned it off one night and it will not turn back on.
