Great heater/ac unit
I bought this heater/ac unit for my dogs house. I love it because on its lowest temp setting it keeps the dog house toasty warm and cuts off when it gets to the desired temp. My last one didn't have this option and would just continuously run and it would get way to hot for the dogs in the dog house. I would definitely recommend, it's perfect for the 8x8 building.

    perfect size fit perfect in my window saves on electric bill. we have two for a 700 square foot house keeps it at the perfect temp for us in this humid climate

    great, but...
    Both heating and cooling are great. Thermostat is a different story. For ac, set it at 70, sometimes it doesn't come on. Set it at 71, it comes on at 66. And it's 9 mos old. There is also a 1/4" gap between unit and housing on the bottom through which I can see daylight. Otherwise, great unit.

    Not for me
    Arrived damaged! The box was bent and the fins !!!! I bought it for my son in august for extra heat ! I’m just taking it out the box Today and I had a professional to install it !!! The heat is not heating! I’m having a time trying to figure out how to return it !

    This air conditioner with heat is extremely useful and well designed. The cooling is effective, and the multitude of functions and settings allows for accurate climate control. It doesn’t place a harsh demand on the power supply, either. I’m very pleased.

    Do ur homework
    I noticed several people commented that 'heat blows cold' .....obviously they failed to do any research. This unit has a heat pump, an inverter. When temps drop below about 35, the heat pump provides finishing returns. That is why it also has 'supplemental' heat, if u read the specs. The supp heat kicks in below 35, but it is not that powerful. U need backup space heater. I use oil filled radiator style...pretty cozy

    We purchased two of these for our hunting camp. If you need heat for the winter do NOT by this. They blow cold air. I write this as I sit here in 20 degree weather freezing, I am very disappointed!!! Great a/c.
