Great running AC
Only 2 days since install but it works great. It's simple to operate . I have not tried wifi yet and probably won't ever use it. Install was typical as with many other units. I notice a few complaints about noise. Mine is pretty quiet for a window unit. It's quieter than my GE 6000 btu in the bedroom. I used a Db meter app to measure noise. You can see the graph in the picture. I started off 12 feet away at my desk and moved to about 3 feet away. The unit was 40 bucks cheaper than all competitors. I used the difference to buy a 3 year warranty, Walmart also has much faster delivery on Ac's , also free. Ordered Wed night and got here friday afternoon.

    Very poorly designed
    Forget this model. Delivery was fine and the unit arrived in good order. I followed the installation directions and discovered because this unit has a water reservoir punched in the bottom of the unit, it doesn't sit flush or evenly on my windowsill like previous units did. It holds approx.. 1/2 a pint of water in the unit`s base at all times. Remember that when it`s time to remove the unit from your window. The day after I installed it it rained and organic material seeped into the unit from the wide open vents on the top of the unit. Bleach was no help. EVERY time I start the unit a blast of moldy air comes out. The L.E.D. display was a problem too. When the unit is running for a minute or so the display goes dark, you can`t see the room temp. or temp. setting. You could inadvertently leave the unit running all day because the display is dark, as-if it was off. The controls are very complicated and the remote is tiny and VERY difficult to use. The remotes buttons are just small bumps you have to have you room light on the see the functions on the remote.

    Excellent 8k BTU Room Air Conditioner
    Easy to install and uninstall from a window. Air filter is highly efficient, easily removed, and washable (but light use of a microfiber towel works as well as water, with no drying time needed). 8k BTU works as expected in appropriate room size. Quiet and does not disturb sleep. Remote control is a plus and works well. Multiple settings to meet various daily cooling requirements.

    Frigidaire 8,000BTU A/C
    Overall I like the features it has. Downfall is it seems to not have as much power as my old Frigidaire A/C(6,000BTU).(We use it in the Bedroom)But it has saved us from many hot days. We have a Frigidaire 10,000 BTU in the Living Room/Kitchen and that works extremely nice.

    Awesome product, features and performance exceeded our expectation.
    Bought this a month a ago, installed them myself. I thought it was going to be hard since I live in a 2nd floor and was thinking it might fall but it was really easy. Features was awsome, I installed the app on my phone and controlled the AC unit form my phone. I also use the schedule feature when it will turn on and when it will shut down.

    Nice A/C Unit
    I bought this to replace on old Haier A/C 8,000 btu unit that started making weird noises when the hottest weather hits. This unit is much quieter and the remote controls are excellent. I bought this particular brand and model because I have another Frigidaire unit that I am very pleased with after a year of use. The unit was packed great and included all necessary information on installation and operation. Also, the unit is not too heavy to handle which I like since I'm not gettin any younger. Very please with the unit, so far. The unit fits in nicely with our decor. It has a clean, modern look to it that I like. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will have some decent longevity.
