It does everything it said it would do. cleaning the filter is so easy. I had to return the bracket because this unit fit perfectly. It works great. I wish I knew how to do sq. footage - but that is not the units fault, its mine.

Poor quality Air Conditioner
This type of AC doesn't stay in cool long enough to cool the room down. It blows fan air more than cool air in AC high fan-cool mode. The small room using 10,000 should be nice and cool. Also you can not see the temperature on this AC for it doesn't have a temperature read panel nor has a remote. Wouldn't recommend this unit.

    Simple and works like it should, great delivery.
    I wanted simple controls, no remote, just turn it on and let it run. Last two window units I had quit working because of the electronics. Cost too much to repair if you could find someone to do it! I liked this unit so much I ordered a second unit as a back up. I have 3 outside buildings that have window units. Now if I could just find a car that had almost no electronics, I would be a happy person indeed!

    Fridgidaire 10,000 A/C unit
    Lightweight for it's size, easy to install and works well ! I was disappointed to find it did not meet the specs to get an energy rebate from the electric company. Also, it doesn't seem to shut off once the house is cool enough, I thought they all did that.... Delivery was fast, friendly and the unit arrived in good condition !

    All the cool at just the right price
    For me it was easy to install, but if your not 6'2" and an electrician or a handy person. I recommend hiring someone who is. To mount it properly and securely. These are not light weight, and they are large.

    Worth the money!
    This unit works great! Cools my open plan living, dining, and kitchenette area very fast! It has exceeded expectations. It cools ice cold on high, and is very quiet. I'm a 39 year old woman, I installed this on my own. Instructions are easy to follow.
