Very helpful mom tool.
This is a great thermometer. My son recently got sick and had a fever along with it. He is 8 and it made it so simple to walk into his room and just point and get a reading without waking him up to do it. It is so simple and easy to use. Parent and patient friendly. It has a lot of features, like a 50 memory recall. I really like the color option because I need reading glasses to see and I don't always have them with me. It was very helpful to get a reading just based off the color on the lcd screen.

User manual useless
The user manual on the Equate Model: HTD8813C Non Contact Thermometer is the worst user manual I have ever seen. There was not a single procedure that could be used, from installing the batteries to operating the thermometer. The user manual might as well been written in Greek, the user manual was useless.

    No waking up your child!
    We have several thermometers with 2 kids so we have them in different places in the house for easy grabbing. We needed a new one due to one being broken and tried this. It's very fast and seems accurate and is a bit more on target then our old ones. I love that you can turn the beep sound off so it doesn't wake your sick child when you check them if they are sleeping. It also has a memory that saves the last 50 temperatures which is handy for tracking. It has 3 light options, green, normal, orange low grade and red fever. Overall I really like it and it works well not having to touch the skin with the infrared.

    Color Display for Quick Read
    This is a temperature gun for point and shoot instant reading. It doesn't come in contact with the person being tested. The display is color coded, with green meaning no fever, yellow meaning slight fever, and red meaning high fever. Simple and quick to use. It comes with batteries already installed.

    This Non Contact infrared thermometer came at the right time for me. It came well packaged and no need to assemble . I love the style and the fact that it has a display led feature that displays the result on the screen. Its easy to use and is accurate. I love it and the other buttons that's by the side of it.     The Thermometer non contact infared body thermometer is very easy to use and the instructions was pretty simple to read and understand. I love the fact that it measures in different ways, it makes taking a temperature very easily. It has very accurate readings and only takes a minute.

    Love this thermometer. I think it’s great for testing your kids when they’re not feeling well and also the water temperature in the bathtub! It’s quick and very accurate. I love the size of the screen display. Easy to see the reading and it stores the last 50 readings so if you ever need to go back and look. Definitely recommend for every household!

    Multipurpose fever digital thermometer
    Infrared digital thermometer by Equate checks a fever in one second only without touching a skin. It should be placed from half inch up to 2 inches from person according to manufacture in order to get clear reading. LCD display is designed with three different colors in for easy understating what is normal fever and what is higher and that you should seek help from professionals. Another great feature built in is that has different mode testing of temperature in food, liquid or even room air. It can store up to 50 last readings and it is rated to be used from infants to adults and anybody between. I been using Braun for last three or so years so I can only compared to that model. Equate design is physical bigger than Braun so it take more space for storage or travel. I am not sure which one is more calibrated correctly for temperature but when it read difference between Braun and Equate was only of 0.01 degree. Equate have slightly larger screen so it is easier to read for people who have problem with vision. Also Equate has extra reading modes for food, liquid or room temperature where Braun does not, and it is more economical.

    Every household needs a non-contact, 1 second read thermometer. This one can also be used for liquid temperature too, like to check the temp of a bath. The easy green, yellow and red light makes it easy to know what range of fever you are. You can also switch to Celsius or Fahrenheit. Made in China under the Equate brand.

    Very accurate
    Really nice contactless thermometer. Nice and light. Easy to read and very easy to use. I like that I can point it at any part of the body, where there is skin showing, and it comes up with a reading almost instantly. And very accurate. Most thermometers would show me near the 98 range. My body temperature is always in the 97 range. As you can see in the picture, it came up spot on with my temperature. Great infrared thermometer that will be so useful here.

    Works perfect right out the box
    This Equate Non-Contact Infrared Body Thermometer is a game changer. The thermometer fits comfortably in my hand and it's really east to use, just press the trigger and within 1 to 2 seconds the display lights up and the temperature of the object you're pointing at is shown. The display is very bright and easy to read. What I love about this thermometer is that it's contactless. There is no need to touch the person whom temperature you're taking. I was previously using a digital mouth thermometer, which has to be disinfected before and after each use. Those days are a thing of the past. This particular infrared thermometer has a three-color fever alarm. Green for normal temperature, yellow for a slight fever, and red for a high fever. This Equate thermometer can even measure the temperature of surfaces, like water for example. You can cycle through body and surface modes using the “Mode” button. And the best thing about this thermometer is that it has a memory mode, which stores the last 50 temps that was taken. This comes in handy when monitoring someone's or somethings temperature. I don't have to write them down or try to remember what it was previously.
