Accurate and simple to use
I got this because we're constantly checking temps for our 3yo daughter. She goes to preschool and gets a lot of viruses. When you're 3 (and younger), you don't have the patience to put up with a slow thermometer, and you're definitely not mastering the "under the tongue" thing. So this is perfect. Pros: QUICK. Seriously, this is even faster than the one we got off Amazon. Simple to use Comes with little covers for the tip BUT it also works without the covers - honestly if you're only using it for one person, does it really matter if you consistently change the cover?? Very accurate (compared to our other model) Cons: Doesn't sit very well in the holder - just not a perfect fit, which bugs me That's about it...this is a simple, easy-to-use thermometer, perfect for your pandemic-era child.

Great features, but inaccurate temperature.
This review is based on the Equate Infrared In-Ear Digital Thermometer. I have used this thermometer and compared it to my other brand digital ear thermometer to test for accuracy. This thermometer has been tested on and compared on all three of my young children as well as my husband and myself. After carefully and thoroughly testing out this thermometer, I have found some pros and cons that I have based my decision off of: Pros: The in-ear digital thermometer reads the results quickly. You do not need to wait longer than 5 seconds to receive the temperature reading. This thermometer is also easy to hold. It is the perfect size for a child as well as an adult. When first turning on the device, you will notice that it saves the 10 most recent readings, which can help when you may have forgotten what it was the last time you had checked your temperature. This is a nice feature, especially when it comes to having a child in the home. Lastly, the ear covering is universal, so you can use other brand ear thermometer covers to fit the Equate Infrared In-Ear Digital Thermometer. Cons: The in-ear digital thermometer does not fit into the case provided well. It falls out rather easily, unlike other brands I have used, so I'm a bit cautious when it comes to making sure I am holding it properly during transport so it does not fall out of the case. The most important factor, which is also unfortunately a con, is the inaccuracy of the devise. I have tested this against my other brand in-ear digital thermometer that has been tested for accuracy prior, it they are up to 1 degree off in readings on the same person and in the same ear tested. Overall, the Equate Infrared In-Ear Digital Thermometer has some good qualities to it that could benefit a lot of different type families or persons. Although there were quite a few pros, the cons tend to make up for my decision on this product, unfortunately. Due to the inaccuracy of this in-ear digital thermometer, I would have to say that I do not recommend this product, which makes me sad due to the easy set up of this thermometer.

    Simple easy to use and accurate
    This is a great thermometer. It's easy to use, the instructions are clear. It's easy to clean. It reads accurately. I love having a thermometer that reads so quickly, especially for my toddler who won't sit still for thermometers that take longer.

    This in-ear digital thermometer is so helpful and gives us results quickly. The thermometer itself is easy to set up and use. It comes with everything you need to get started and using right away. It shows both Fahrenheit and Celsius which is pretty useful if you don't know one or the other and it stores the last 10 reads for easy temp tracking. We will be needing more disposable probe caps for future use. I love that it has a storage case because it is tough to store thermometers safely sometimes. The accuracy is pretty good compared to the small thermometers that I have at home already and sometimes only differ by a fee degrees if that.

    Equate brand infrared ear digital thermometer with LCD display works great! Definitely worth the buy. Please read instructions before use as well! It is easy to use and read. Comes with 5 disposable caps. Press the power button to urn on and off. Press the thermometer button to read your temperature. Will display your temperature in red, yellow or green depending on how high your temperature is. I really like this thermometer and Definitely recommend it!

    The Equate Infrared ear digital thermometer has become a life saver with its quick digital LED reading. It's comes with the clear tips for the ear an makes for easy clean up with the eject button on the bottom. It's super easy to use and to read. The screen on the thermometer is clear so no problems with temp readings with an accurate reading every time. It also comes with a base to safely store it. Definitely would recommend!

    Quick check, no fuss
    Since my daughter has been back in school there have thankfully been no issues but she hated the last thermometer that took a bit longer to process. When the directions say it takes a second they mean it. Now I can easily check her temp before she leaves and once she comes home from school super quick.

    Love our new ear thermometer! It's screen is big and even changes color according to the temperature and gives a fever sound. It's fast and accurate, it also stores the last 10 readings which is great when trying to remember what the last one was, the ear probe covers are easy to put on and off I like that it comes with its own like case I love it and definitely recommend it

    I love that this ear thermometer comes with a probe! This makes is safer and easier for checking the baby's temperature in the ear. It's also more sanitary and easier to clean. I love that the thermometer also keeps track of the last 10 temperature reads. This is good to have on hand in case of a serious illness with your child. It makes it easier to keep track of the ups and downs of their temperature. Just in case you do need to call the doctor or go in. Overall, I'm satisfied with this thermometer and what it offers.

    best thermometer for all
    This ear thermometer isn't just for infants it's for all ages. It changes from Celsius to Fahrenheit. It also has a memory and saves all the temperate taking degrees for 3 save modes. I feel it is very accurate. You just hold it in the ear and it takes the temperature within 15 seconds. It comes with a nice case and has 6 ear protectant covers so you can dispose after use.

    Great Thermometer!
    The Equate Infrared Ear Digital Thermometer with LCD Display is great in my opinion. The thermometer includes two double AA batteries which is a major plus. It also includes 5-probe cap filters and a protective storage case. You also place a probe cover on the tip of the thermometer and toss it out after each use. The thermometer is very easy to use. You press the power on button, then you place it inside the ear and then press the temperature button. It gives you the temperature that is inside the ear. The thermometer comes with some instructions that gives you the range that the temperature should be in. It is very easy to use and very easy to clean. It memorizes the last 10 readings, it's good for all ages and has a fever alert. It is a great thermometer that gives a reading in less than a minute. I would also like to add that it is not uncomfortable to use. You don't feel pain when using it. I plan on using only this thermometer from now on. This is a very good brand. I highly recommend this thermometer.
