You pay for new and you get used
I purchased a new however I received a used and open box item. I would not recommend this to anyone as I returned mine the same day that it was delivered. Not recommended!!

    The Product Is Ok
    But the major downside is the locking system It gets loose with time We can't safely load it to 10 or 12kg safely for doing the overhead tricep extension and those exercises where you hold the dumbell vertically We can of course get new locks for 300 ruppees for a pair But that's a lot of cash just for getting locks for a dumbell

    Safety concern
    The weight plates are held by friction clamps. When changing weights during a workout, sweat will get on to the bar. My concern is the weights will slide off when the clamps are wet. Can you design a loop to connect the ends of the bar so as to give added protection from the weights sliding off. I currently use shoelaces for peace of mind.

    Dumbbell kit
    Very happy with my new dumbbells. Love the quick lock collars! Makes changing plates quick and easy. I'm not so impressed with the latches on the carry case though. Unless the lid and base are perfectly aligned it is extremely difficult to undo or do them up. And being plastic I'm not sure how long they'll last if I'm struggling with them each time I open or close the case. Otherwise a great product.

    I like the fact that weight could be slid on. One thing I don't like when I start using weights the metals are not tightly fit. So they make a noise. I wish the weight could be locked in place.
