Reasonably priced lightweight awning. Had to buy wood screws to hang, masonry anchors were included. Easy to assemble, looks great. Pleased with the purchase.

Looks good but materials are plastic
Looks good but materials are plastic. No problem after a month.<br />It is easier to put together if after putting the two plastic sheets together,<br />put one side on the ground and drop the sheets with front and back rods<br />down onto the side. then add the second side from the top.

    A little difficult to assemble
    This is the second unit I buy because the first one lost its plastic canopy and I could not find replacement canopy sheets so I orderd another complete unit. the palstic sheets are not sturdy and flew over in the wind. I hope this one will last longer.

    Save you money!!
    Do not buy this awning for it is a piece of junk. I've assembled many purchases over the years without issue, though this awning continued to disassemble before I could install it. When I finally did hanging it was impossible for the slightest tilting when assembling it came apart once again. It was so flimsy that even if it were to hold together on installation I do see how it could withstand any kind of winds or rain. Save your money and look for alternatives.

    Made cheap, lies, they mailed me a 40"x19" awning
    These people lie and send you a 40" x 19" awning made like a childs toy instead of the 40" x 40" shown and promised in the ad! I have seen similar lies on Amazon where someone orders a larger awning and they lie and mail a smaller piece of trash to them! These people need to be held legally liable for this nonsense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great item for the price.
    I think it is a great buy for the price. The side pieces are plastic but seem to be pretty sturdy. It was easy to assemble and attach to the house. I've only had it up about a month but we've had a couple of Missouri high wind thunderstorms and so far it has held up and worked well.

    DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!
    DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! Piece of plastic and piece of junk. My husband had to figure out a way to keep it together (we ordered four) to use on rental properties. Terrible. Flimsy. The actual awning comes in two pieces which will allow rain in. Again - just don't buy it!

    Cheap, worthless garbage that I would be afraid to sneeze near. I feel totally scammed, and Iam beginning to think the dishonest folks at Costway are posting fake reviews! 12 plastic soda bottles taped together would do a better job than this thing.
