It runs quieter than our old unit and cools quickly. I like the auto fan mode. I use it in a manufactured home with bedrooms on either end. The instructions says it will cool 700 square feet which is our main living area. We are pleased that it will cool the bedrooms as well.

Shipping nightmare
The a/c seems to work fine. Installation directions were lacking so get your YouTube out and see how to install it. Shipping is a nightmare. Said it would be delivered on time, then it was delayed and then all of a sudden, it shows up ON MY SIDEWALK! I just happen to look outside and see my a/c and other packages on the side walk. Not on my porch. No one rang the doorbell. Just left them. Good thing I was home and saw them. I will not be ordering any large items again. I mean, who in their right mind leaves a box on the sidewalk for anyone to walk off with!

    Very Cold!
    Pretty heavy and will take 2 people to install! i bought this because our friend has one and it cools his whole house! I'm happy I did because it cools down our whole house as well! item didn't arrived damaged like others have stated. I also don't think it's as loud as other reviews have made it out to be. the price just makes it even better! I highly recommend this unit

    Not to happy
    So I ordered this ac unit while I was out of town. I just got back in and today am installing it. I take it out of the package and find it has some decent sized dents in it. That's not good for me. I don't like spending close to 500 bucks to get damaged merchandise. Now I am going to try and install it and see if the mechanics of this unit are fine or not. I'll update after install.

    This unit cools my entire house(1300 SQ FT) to a comfortable 65 degrees. I like the automatic restart and automatic temperature control that keeps the unit from running the compressor contínuasly. The remote is a nice gesture. The instructions could be better as well as the pictures. It is definitely a 2 person job to install as it is a large heavy unit. My husband and I got it in place and after letting the unit sit in place for a few hours to settle the freon we turned it on and it had exceptionally cold air immediately. Only had it for 2 weeks so can't comment on quality and durability yet but it is a good unit so far and fairly quiet. For the price it's a good buy.

    I read a lot of the reviews before buying this unit. It did arrive with damage to the metal housing/casing of the unit which did not surprise me as I expected that from Fed Ex :/ The instructions did nothing for me as they were so vague and I had to wing it. The accordian panels for the left and right had improper screws to attach them and I just gave up on them because the screws they give you will strip out the pre drilled holes and I used a hand screw driver. I've put many many units together but this was the worst :/ I put the darn thing in the window and filled in one side as best as I could. The unit works but I was not at all pleased with everything. A dented unit, an improper install kit. The accordian panels are in the garbage pail they do not work right with any of the screws they give you in the kit. And the WRONG sized screws ? Really ? I would definitely not buy it again, Another * Warning* to add to the rest. And if I wanted to send it back to get another one shame on me lol

    one thing did not like it was bent up on one end shippers did very bad job but it works so i can live with that Walmart needs to do something about this

    Buyer beware of shipping issues
    First one came damaged, took 3 weeks for replacement, and replacement had minor damage , the unit it's self is great , shipping is a joke , I will be boycotting fedex , sorry walmart but this whole order did not go smooth at all , yes I'd recommend this air conditioner but not the way I bought it

    in love with the AC unit
    This window AC works perfect, I have a 1500 sqft house and it's keeping my house cool. Our temperature right now is 115 degrees and inside the house we dont feel the heat at all. I would totally recommend it. We love it. Super easy to install as well.
