Do not recommend.
This grill is a piece of garbage. I have given it the benefit of the doubt for about 2 weeks and it literally refuses to get over 350 degrees. Most of the time its sitting between 250-300 and i cant even cook anything. In the photo I had the grill on the highest setting for about 30-40 minutes. I would return it, but it seems impossible now that its put together. Waste of time and $$$

    works well. however the grate included is terrible. Bought a regular stainless wire grate, heats better,. also added tray for ceramic briquets. The grill works great now. True Infared ??? without briquets -- has no flavor.

    Pretty easy to put together. Well packed. All items were in the box. Turned it on when complete and seem to work fine. Look forward to grilling a thick juicy steak.

    It's ok
    It is a slow cooker that does not do well with any frozen material like hamburger patties unless you are only cooking one round of a handful. The slow cooking is great for steaks and such as getting them cook perfectly is easier with the slow cooking speed.

    Not worth the money-Impossible to clean easily!!!!
    Impossible to clean easily after using ..can't just wipe it off!....needs to be washed in a sink or outside tub of water. so you can turn it upside down....it catches all the grits and pieces of food you grill....all the food falls through the grill grate. Terrible little grill...No more Char Broil... I paid $150.00 3 months ago...The current price at Walmart is $245.00.....Don't buy it...

    It's a great grill for apartment patios. If you aren't allowed to have a charcoal or gas grill, this will do the trick. Make sure you heat it to at least 450 before adding anything to it, because when you open to Hood it loses a lot of it's heat and takes a while to get back up. It is by no means the same as cooking with direct heat, but it's a great substitute.

    Happy griller!!
    Infrared heat is hard to cook with until you get used to the way it cooks! It takes time to adjust the temperature! I am used to using a gas grill with infrared so it is very different! My main reason for buying the electric grill is because where I live is very windy, and hard to keep the gas grill lit! So far I have only used it a couple of times, but it works very well! Thank you!

    Great grill!!
    I live in an area where charcoal grills aren't permitted and I can't handle a propane tank as it is to heavy for me to carry. This solves those problems and I have the same outcome as barbequeing. It's great, food is great and it's an easy cleanup. No fire or smoke. I love it!!

    After blowing the circuits in 3 outlets, moved it to the garage and it work ok, 20 amp circuit. Cooking was more like boiled pork chop, nice and moist, but not browned. Would work better as an oven than a BBQ.
