These Douglas Black Boots are gorgeous looking, comfortable, and very fashionable. They slide on easy, and have a memory foam inside. The stitching is well done, and the traction and thickness of the boots are impressive. They're absolutely perfect for dressing up for a wedding, or formal events.

I wanted so much to try out these shoes, but no matter how hard I tried, I could not get them on my feet. They look pretty sharp. I normally wear an 11.5 extra wide. I tried for over 10 minutes to get them on my feet. I even used a very long shoehorn to attempt to get them on, but no way. I guess my feet are just to wide for these shoes.

    These everyday dress shoe feel good and look sharpe. The shoes have an aggressive sole so there's is no slipping going on, the are also a nice style. I think the are equally as nice with jeans or khakis a nice all-around shoe.

    When I recieved these shoes I really like the way they felt on the outside. They feel soft and yet they feel durable. They have a nice clean look, but not shiny. When I put them on they are tight. I have a wide foot and these are for people with average, or narrow feet. They also have very little padding in the insoles. I like the look, but the width make these shoes not for me.

    Really good looking boots, but they run very big.
    I needed a new pair of boots to wear to work. These seemed to fit the bill. I ordered my standard size, which is a 10 and 1/2. If I'm wearing tennis shoes I need an 11. I ordered these boots in a 10 and a half and they are so big that they practically fall off my feet. The tag on the boots as well as the marker inside both show 10 and 1/2. I don't know what size I would need to get to make these fit. I even tried my heavy wool socks that I wear in the winter time and they were still too loose for me to wear. The color is beautiful. They seem to be well made, just very large. That is why I cannot recommend them. You would need to try them for yourself to see what would actually fit.

    Nice Boots
    These are some very nice boots! I ordered size 9.5 and they fit perfectly. The color is more a dark tan then a regular color tan but is still very appealing. Shows fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. These Boots can be worn in an everyday knock around attire or in a more casual dress situation. These Boots are very comfortable and can be worn for long periods of time. These boots look good and feel good. Highly recommend.

    Versatile Multi-purpose boot
    I think the Chaps Chelsea boots look like real leather and look good for the office or going out even though they are of less expensive synthetic material. They are well made with nice tight stitching. The inner soul is slightly padded which make them comfortable for normal wear. The pull-tab makes them quick and easy to put on. The outer sole is thick and sturdy with the grip of a work or hiking boot. They don't breathe so they keep your feet warm on damp or cold days. I wore them in the rain and they kept my feet warm and dry. I haven't worn them in snow yet but am confident they will work well for most days from fall to spring. I don't know if they are water proof through the stretch fabric on the side but am curious to find out, although being an ankle boot, you wouldn't go very deep in snow anyways.

    These are sharp boots. They look like a nice casual shoe with a lug sole. They have memory foam insoles which are glued in but can be removed if necessary. The material has a look of leather but is some type of synthetic material. there is not much information on the shoes or the tags there is a cryptic label on the bottom that seems to indicate the materials but there are no words just symbols and is not clear what it means. There is also a label stating the size and made in China. The size seems pretty accurate. There is no width stated so Medium width is assumed and that is what they feel like. They seem to be quite comfortable but are a little tight on my wide feet.

    I Love These Boots! Look Great! So Comfortable
    I love these Chaps Douglas Chelsea boots! They are so comfortable and look so great. They are a definite upgrade from a work boot look while still offering a lug sole for secure footing even in sloppy conditions. The smooth seamless toe is reminiscent of dress shoes or cowboy boots. These ankle boots offer both style and function. The slip on style, with an oversized pull tab, makes putting them on and taking them off a breeze. They have a comfort memory foam footbed for added support and extra comfort. The upper is synthetic but it has the matte look of fine leather. I highly recommend the Chaps Douglas Chelsea boots. They match well with everything from jeans to casual wear.
