So far so good...
This seems like a quality and versatile hose, but I have not yet had freezing temps to report on yet.

May Catch Fire
I had this hose hooked up,.. it got down to 9° and I was using it with the pump, to put water into some holding tanks and when I woke up the next morning the hose had caught fire, it still works as a hose, and Walmart replaced it. I am not using the mew one YET.

    poor quality
    I had this hose for a month and the power cord stopped working. I verified there was power to it, but the light in the plug never came on and the hose is frozen solid. 25 degree temperature.

    Camco 25 ft heated hose
    This is a sturdy well built heated hose. I connected it to my main water source under my tiny home and ran it to a small 7x7 utility shed that I use as a laundry room unheated uninsulated. Just recently experienced temperature down to 1° here in Northwest Alabama and stayed in the single digits to teens for 4 days. This hose worked well in those conditions. As far as longevity goes well we'll see. I have typically had good experiences with Camco products.

    The heated hose has been in constant use since I got it three days ago. Temps have been as low as eighteen and there have been no problems.

    Dont buy if you plan to live in rv for the winter.
    This electrical component goes on and off until it no longer works.It failed on me 12/22/22 when the heavy cold hit and my hose and water line inside my rv froze . Suggestion,dont buy.

    Extremely disappointed.
    I have had this hose a short period of time. This is 2nd year using it and am extremely disappointed in it. Last night it fell apart at the outside faucet. That caused no water in motorhome and could have burned out my tankless water heater. I won't recommend this for others.

    Camco 50 ft heated drinking water hose
    This is suppose to be a drinking water hose but we couldn't drink the water that passed thru it and also smelled bad like a regular garden hose. We bought is for a two week winter trip and used it several time hoping it was just because it was new but over a week it didn't change. Very disappointed, we had to return it.

    Very bulky and the thermostat should be placed in the center of the hose so it could be plugged into 120 volts at either pedestal or to the motorhome.

    dont waste money water froze at 25° 3 times we t and got a different brand somewhere else and its been great
