Great heater
Great heater. Had it installed where the other heater was. The only thing is my friend installed it on a door so I can open the door and point the heater to the dinette area which is great. Which made more storage behind the heater. I have a 65 aristocrat travel trailer. When I went to a rally other trailer had them installed also. This heater is a hit.

only good for 30 degree or above.
this is an excellent heater but it will not compete with the Denver cold. when it gets cold like 0 or below this heater stood zero chance against it and i am insulated to the fullest, every single crack is culked. it stood no chance agaisnt - degree weather. i almost froze and was forced to turn on my predator 3500 generator which has saved my life many of times in extremely cold conditions. i highly recommend this generator. if in zero degree or negative weather you better get the wave 6 instead. i am only in a 9 foot enclosed trailer conversion with 6ft ceilings and it couldn't do the job. 30 degrees or above that and this heater does very well.

    Great Buy for Camper
Used to heat a 24 camper, travel trailer. With nighttime temperatures in the 40's this heater was able to easily heat the entire camper. The 3 temperature settings is a big plus, saves on LP gas when low/medium temp is selected vs high temp. Added the foot attachment, add a heavy duty cover to keep the heating element clean. I use a 5 lb LP tank with a 12 hose to ease moving heater inside camper. Great buy for camper.

Seemed like a good idea at the time....
This unit has a number of appealing features. It is simple to use and install, it requires no electricity, it is nearly silent, and it is a modest consumer of propane. That said, I found it totally inadequate to keep my well insulated conversion van warm and comfortable in cold weather. With a claimed 3,000 BTUs, I could barely feel any warmth radiating from it more than about 18" in front of it. It took several hours to raise the temperature in my van by about 20º F. Like any non-vented propane device, it introduces a good deal of moisture into your space. It appears very well made, and comes well packaged, such that it is not likely to arrive damaged. If it meets your needs, great - a small space and mild temperatures. But for a high roof van in 30º weather, it simply didn't cut it for me.

    Simple connect
Glad I purchase the Wave 6 for Van. I don't believe the Small would have been enough.

    Best heater we've ever had!
Walmart had a great price on this. It works even better than we expected. We had one of these heaters years ago and loved it. These are first class!

We live full time in a toy hauler RV and the heater does a wonderful job in our garage room. We bought legs for ours so we can turn and aim it in whichever direction we want.

I have used mine once in a van conversion project. the weather ws in the low 40's so my sleeping bag was sufficient for the overninght. I did fire up the unitduring the day while hanging out in the van doing some bible studies, so i was inactive. on the low setting I was toasty warm and there was no odors from the unit. The true test will come in December when the weather is colder and I am in the van for a week strait, but I am confident that the unit will do what I need for it to do. The van is super insulated which helps, but I do look forwrd to an extended stay in the van knowing that I have the Wave 3 availble. I live in Michigan and so far the temeratures have been moderate, but like I said, I am looking forward to seeing how this thing performs in 20 degree weather. I dont think I will have an issue. The only unavoidable downside for me is getting out of a warm sleeping bag to fire the unit up.

    Regulator hose not included
Purchased this because it gets the best reviews consistently from many "best of" review sites. Haven't used it, but I'm writing this review to identify: 1. I like the size - slim, small footprint in my van, and 2. it does NOT come with a regulator hose, so you'll need to purchase separately, and 3. The cover is highly recommended to keep the filter clean and functioning properly, which is also a separate purchase. Not including the regulator hose makes sense as I wanted an 8' hose so the propane tank is outside my van while I use this heater inside my van. So most users will need their own specific size, just be aware that you should order one with this purchase so you can use it.

Best way ever to heat your RV!
I have had one of these before, but not the Wave 8. Sadly, this was way too big and heavy and wouldn't fit where I wanted it in our travel trailer, so sent it back and ordered the Wave 3, which is much smaller. I love the way these heat. They are nice and quiet, provide radiant heat, so there is no noise from a blower and it doesn't run down the batteries. Highly recommend. Just check the sizes and weight before you buy one.
