defective unit?
Rhe air blowing out smells like fish, like straight up salmon. The unit is also VERY loud. no way anyone can sleep with it in. ai called for a replacement unit so we will see how it goes.

    broken on arrival
I would rate this higher but it arrived broken. one of the wheel is broken. I wish I can just get the piece. the wheel that is broken rather the replacing the whole thing. the a/c works it cools great. the only bad part the window extension is too short. But other then that the unit keeps the room cold.

    A-
Manual and Remote are hard to find---and Walmart provides no help or cooperation when it comes to that---but otherwise, excellent product, I no longer have to stay at hotels for air-conditioning!

    Would recommend
This is a great unto for the money. We live in a dusty area so two filters is a plus. Some of the reviews said it is noisy, but it is less noisy than the other brand we had. It cools very well and we couldn't be more pleased. It also came packed very well.

Thinking of purchasing again for a different room.
Bought this the day before I broke my shoulder and I love it. Not being able to do anything but sit, the remote became very useful. I am very happy with this unit.

very easy to use. quick set up. I got this for my disabled mother. she loves it. it does the job of cooling but it also makes her feel more independent in that she can install and uninstall it by herself. well worth the price.

    Works great!
I bought this to cool my 500 sq ft apartment during the summer heat and it works great! Outside it was 98 and inside 74, we had it set to 73 and the thermometer station we have was in the furthest corner from the unit, I am impressed! The only complaint I have is that it never actually turns off, the fan is always running. It isn't the quietest fan but I have no issues sleeping with it on. I highly recommend buying this Portable AC Unit!

I got this in hopes of keeping my place nice and chill, but it did nothing. It kept on overpowering the breaker which i had to change twice and I even got a Stronger breaker and still did the same I even put it in a different room and it also cut the power. So I am returning it back it as it failed me.

Works very well. Best summer ever! Its a little louder than we hoped for but we did our research and discovered they all are so were adapting to a little extra white noise
