Cute bedtime friend
My four year old boy loves his new Blue's Clues & You! Bedtime Blue Plush friend. He talks to him and plays with him and enjoys telling him it's bedtime when he is tired. Blue requires two AAA batteries (included). He's very soft and colors are bright and seems to be well made. You can push his paw and the teddy bear lights up and plays songs (2 different ones). He's happy with him, so I am also. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Would have been better as a simple plushy.
I was so excited for this toy/napping aid to arrive. (Shipping was fast). I bought it for my toddler aged daughter who is obsessed with Blues Clues right now. After trying to put her to sleep with it, I noticed a few things that really disappointed me. First, the glowing Polkadot is not actually glow in the dark. A light comes on after pressing the paw and then it goes off when the song (twinkle twinkle little star) finishes. My daughter loves the glow in the dark ceiling stars we have and I was excited for this to glow in the dark too but it didn't. Second, the light is REALLY bright. We're used to the hatch being at 10% in the room. This light was bright like a flashlight. Third, the song is really loud. Like reeeally loud... and there's no switch for loud vs. quiet. Last but not least, the button in the paw isn't sensitive enough for my daughter to activate it on her own. It's quite tough for me to get the trigger right each time too. I do like the construction of it though. Feels durable, not too heavy and it sits on its own. Ultimately, this Blue would have been better as a simple plushy.

    Blues clues bedtime plush
    I recieved This Blues Clues bedtime plush is absolutely adorable.It is a very nice size.Brightly colored and seems to be very well made.It plays music and glows.The music is loud enough to hear good at bedtime but not so loud that it will disturb someone else while they are sleeping.This is a great toy to help calm a young one that may be upset about having to go to bed or one that is afraid of the dark.It is very soft to the touch.It looks just like the character it portrays on the Blue Clues tv show.
