Would be 5 stars if deck traction was better
This soft top surfboard is a good choice for kids or very casual beach goers who don't need (or want to pay for) a fiberglass or epoxy surfboard. Pros: inexpensive, lightweight but sturdy enough for moderate usage, floaty/easy to paddle, good shape for riding waves. Leash is very lightweight but functional. It's not going to ding like a fiberglass board and it's not going to hurt as much when it gets away and hits you. Con: the deck and traction pad are too slippery to use confidently without some additional help. I can't tell if it can be waxed or if additional traction pads would stick to the deck. I returned this board because I was not comfortable trying to ride a wave with my feet slipping.

Fun board for a great price!
These are very similar to the Wavestorms you can get at Costco only for a better price. I love the teal color and the fun pattern on the bottom. We liked it so much, we bought two!

    What a fun ride!
This board is a great deal and an even better ride! Wanted something affordable, as I've only surfed twice in my life and 5 or so years back. I was able to get up on this board the first time out! It's got an awesome design and was easy to carry to the beach. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Beginner Board for People Under 200lbs
Beautiful, tough, and well design board. Perfect for beginners and pros that just want to cruise small waves. It comes with everything you need except wax. One thing thou, its maximum weight tolerance is 200 pounds. I weight 235 so everyone at my home can used it except me. It is made by the same company that produce Wavestorm boards, so you know it's well made.
