It does not "whistle"
Maybe mine came bad all I know it does not whistle. So it could be boiling for a while and you wouldn't know it.

    The handle is to close to the lid. It look's nice the only problem is the lid.

    the whistle has a spring in it that popped out the first time i used it, it looks like it ws glued in, i put the piece baqck without the spring and it works ok, just doesn't whistle

    Whistle of tea kettle
    Once agsain I am disappointed in Walmart. This WHISTLING teakettle has a whistle that is barely audible. Aa few times I almost boiled it dry.

    Great product! Very disappointed in the amount of time it took to get delivered Even though the Covid-19 is here I have seen other shipments arrive faster from Amazon which I know is much busier than Walmart This will reflect any more purchases I or anyone I know will make from Walmart
